someguy Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 If you buy more than $200 worth of stuff, it ships for free. Here is another thing that I figured out: Somehow some smarthome items are available from amazon. I happen to have "Amazon Prime" which ships things to me in two days for free, but I do have to pay tax. My plan in the future will be to use Amazon for items that are available there, when I am buying less than $100 or so, but shipments that will add up to more than that amount I'll probably buy straight from smarthome. just an FYI.
Mark Sanctuary Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Just a heads up... Make sure the Amazon storefront is really Smarthome's because Smarthome is great at supporting warranty exchanges as long as you bought it from them, otherwise your left to the actual seller's exchange polices. For example I just exchanged 26 INSTEON switches with Smarthome that where from 2006 and I have read other places if I had bought them NOT through Smarthome it might have been a huge headache.
