Simple request: Find

It would be nice to have a way to enter an address (or maybe wildcard) and see if I already have that device added.

 

I have a motion sensor in my hand, but I have no easy way to see if it's already been added to the ISY.

All device installed in ISY should show up in the My Lighting Tree of the left panel.

Clicking on each device should give its details. Like its six digit ID number.

 

Tip many of us use. While installing devices make a list of their IDs and where they are. Lots easier than taking off wall plates or crawling behind stuff to read the ID stickers.

I realize I can click on each one, but that's exactly what I was trying to avoid. Clicking through >100 devices to find if I had one installed.

 

I do keep a list of what I've installed--It's the ISY!

If I had 100 devices the find ID feature could be handy.

[Sub-Routine]

The device table can be sorted (forward and backwards) by clicking on a column heading. You can sort by name, current state, address, or device type.
