jwagner010 Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 I have a 2484 and the ISY Admin console doesn't give me an option to change the LED brightness. Is this an oversight in the ISY code or is there something wrong with my installation of the device into the ISY?
Brian H Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Not sure if the TimerLinc can have its brightness set remotely. The on line manual only points out how to do it with the buttons. http://wiki.smarthome.com/index.php?title=2484D_Manual
midrar Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Unrelated topic: Can you have seperate scenes or seperate programs controlling the same lights but at different ramp rates or different on levels?
LeeG Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Each responder to a given Scene can have its own specific Bright level and Ramp rate. Each responder to different Scenes can have its own specific Bright level and Ramp rate. The Bright level and Ramp rate are maintained in the responder's link record so every Scene controlling Device A can have Device A respond with a different Bright level and Ramp rate. In fact within the same Scene, the Bright level and Ramp rate can be different when the ISY Program controls the Scene versus when another controller device controls the Scene. So long as there is a unique responder link record involved the Bright level and Ramp rate can be unique.
