I'm having the same exact issue as I'm trying to setup my ratgdo32 for the first time. The current and only available ratgdo firmware is from Oct 16. There has to be some new compatibility issue. To the seasoned experts on this forum, any thoughts?

I'm having trouble integrating my ratgdo32 with eisy using the ratgdo plugin. I'm using Security+ 2.0 with ESPHome firmware 2026.9.1. The plugin shows connected, but no nodes appear. When I click Discover, I receive this error: "There was an error attempting to connect to the device at [local IP address]. Please check the log files and correct the issue before restarting the plugin." I can access and control the garage door through the ratgdo web interface using its local IP, but the /text_sensor/firmware_version endpoint doesn't work. I've tried configuring the plugin with and without http://, with no success. Has anyone found a solution? Could this be a compatibility issue with the newer ESPHome firmware?

Well searching through old posts, I figured out the issue. In most posts, everyone says that the motion node just doesn't appear online. My issue was I still couldn't add it to a program. What I was doing was using status in a program and should have used control. Once the program was updated, it worked flawlessly.

I've always liked the look of the Nest but it never really worked will with ISY/EISY. I recently picked up a couple 4th-generation Nest Learning Thermostats to try since they're Matter-compatible. This was my first Matter device added to the EISY, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the setup was. Everything worked right away, with great feedback and virtually no delay when adjusting the temperature through UD Mobile. Overall, a great experience with Matter integration on the EISY!

I'm seeing online status for all my Ring devices in UD except for my Ring Elite Doorbell Front Door motion. The doorbell itself shows as Online, but the Front Door (Motion) node doesn't display a status, unlike my other Ring cameras. Is this normal behavior for the Ring Elite, or is there something I need to configure to get motion status working?

I'm experiencing an issue with customized tiles on my Favorites screen in UD Mobile. I have customized tiles set up for the following functions: Disarm the alarm. Arm the alarm. Display the current alarm status. The issue I'm experiencing is with the Arm and Disarm tiles. When I first open UD Mobile, the Arm and Disarm tiles do not display the small circle indicator in the upper-left corner of the tile. However, if I select the tile and then navigate back to the Favorites screen, the circle indicator appears as if its now synced. Once that indicator appears, selecting either tile runs the program, either arming or disarming the alarm. After the indicator appears, it remains visible even if I navigate through other menus and return to the Favorites screen. The functionality continues to work as expected. The issue only returns after I completely close UD Mobile and reopen it. I then have to go through the same process again to get the indicators to appear. My question is: Is this a known issue with UD Mobile, or is there a setting or configuration I'm missing? It almost seems like the app isn't refreshing or initializing the status indicators for these customized tiles when it first launches. Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated!

Anytime we lose power, my EISY controller loses the ability to control my ELK M1 Alarm through the EISY node. What I've learned is I have to restart the node and then go into the UD user interface and actually set the state of the alarm in any mode and that seems to restore the communication between the two. While this isn't a common issue, it's still not ideal. Has anyone seen this similar issue and how reliable has the ELK node been for you guys?

I recently replaced my PLM with a new one around 6-12 months ago. This is the second time where I found my keypad wasn't activating programs. I cycled power to the PLM and EISY with no change. I restored the PLM and that resolved it. The bigger issue is why is this happening?

How well does this plugin work? I have several landscape lights and would like to create a cascading effect where each individual light turns on sequentially along a pathway through a program in the EISY.

After unsuccessfully not being able to restore communications, I went to bed and woke up to communications restored.
