MobiLinc Status Updates

Featured Replies

Wes,

are there any known issues with Mobilinc and the latest beta versions of the ISY? I'm able to connect, but none of the ISY devices are updating - I have to do a manual update for each device to see the correct status. This just started after I updated my ISY! I'm running all the latest iPhone updates and the ISY is functioning properly. Any advice?

Thanks,

Hi Patrick,

I just upgraded my ISY unit to .10 and I don’t have any issues with MobiLinc or my ISY. I know that the UDI guys had a few issues with these last couple of firmware releases and the java certificate chain. When you click on the About setting in the Java console does yours report version 2.8.10 or is it still reporting an old version? Also, when you did this upgrade did you follow their steps to remove all the Universal Devices certs from java? I had to do this to make my ISY actually upgrade to 2.8.10. Without this step the ISY looks like it upgrades, but doesn’t actually do it. Once I removed the UDI certs, the upgrade took and my ISY is reporting 2.8.10.

Can you confirm that your ISY upgraded and is reporting 2.8.10 from the java interface?

Wes

I had a problem with either .9 or .10 update, I forget which.

I had to reinstall the self signed certificate on ISY to get mobile linc to connect outside of my LAN. (the https connection wouldn't work and that is how I setup mobile linc outside of my LAN).

Sounds like you have a different situation, however. Once I redid the certificate I have seen normal operation.
