KPL-6 load detect?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of using a KPL-6 in a tabletop case at my bedside. I want to wire the KPL's load wire (and a neutral) back to a plug so I can plug a lamp in. This would allow me to not add a lamplinc and do the associated linking.

My question is....does the KPL-6 detect the load being turned on locally? So...if someone comes along and doesn't know how to use the controller...can they just use the lamp's switch?

Bummer. Thanks.

I might just solve the problem with some electrical tape on the inline switch. :)

I did the same with a KPL that you proposed. I removed the inline switch from the lamp. Tape should work pretty well, also.
