kevinohara80 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 First off, awesome app. Can't wait for the iPad format. I am currently using it on the iPad and its great even in the small format. My Elk is going in right now too so I am excited to use eKeypad for both! I do have one issue though. I had eKeypad connecting to the ISY on my local network just fine but I am having difficulties getting the app to connect remotely. I am using DynDNS and a free host service because I don't have a static IP. I am attempting to connect via https over port 443 and when I set it up in eKeypad, I see the "Status Validating Settings" indicator pop up. Then it basically sits there spinning forever with no success, but no errors either. I tried resetting the configuration settings from the menu but no luck. I have verified that I can connect using this DynDNS host and https through the browser. Any advice?
kevinohara80 Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Never mind, I resolved it. Just needed to reboot the ISY for some reason. eKeypad works flawlessly now. What an awesome app!
