Avonlea22 Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Good Day! I recently installed an OutletLinc in my bathroom to control a space heater. I absolutely love this thing as I can turn on my heater while still lying in bed using my iPhone. A few days ago, I was randomly checking the status of my devices while I was away, and my heart almost dropped to the floor when I saw that my OutletLinc had an "on" status. I quickly turned it off, and hoped my house had not burned down. This morning, I decided to do a test. I turned the OutletLinc on from my iPhone. When I was done, I turned it off using the button on the outlet. I then checked the status on my ISY 99i and on my iPhone, and they both showed that status as "on", even though the OutletLinc was off. Is this a bug or something else? Brian H Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I believe that is normal. The OutletLinc is a responder only and may not report local changes.
