I've installed the garage door kit and everything seems to work fine except I cannot get the IOLinc to respond to an OFF command.

 

I've tried Momentary B and Momentary C modes, either setting does exactly the same thing, only responds to an ON command regardless of the sensor being on or off.

 

It's a V36 IOLinc. Is there anything else I need to do?

Just in case someone else does what I did, I found the problem. You can't use the relay device directly and expect it to behave the way the instructions lead you to believe by sending it on and off commands. It only responds to on commands.

 

However, if you put the relay device in a scene then you can turn the scene on and off and it will function as described in the instructions.
