Charlie911
For Drape control I want to send an ON command at a certain time, and then an OFF command a short time later. (to Insteon appliance modules) Can this be done with one command/program, or do I need 2 separate timers? What would the code look like? Link to comment
Sub-Routine
Hello Charlie, Sure, you can use a Wait command: If Time is 3:15:00PM Then Set Scene 'Hallway' On Wait 3 minutes and 30 seconds Set Scene 'Hallway' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Rand Link to comment
MikeB
...or, something like this: If From Sunset + 20 minutes To 9:30:00PM (same day) Then Set Scene 'FrontDoor' On Else Set Scene 'FrontDoor' Off This might be easier if you're using sunset or sunrise as a start/end point, and a fixed time as the other point. Charlie911
That should do it! Thanks to both of you. Is there a list of commands and terms the unit understands? I saw a couple examples in the user quide, but no command list. If it doesn't look like Fortran I'm lost! Link to comment
Sub-Routine
There are not a lot of commands and they are pretty much explained in chapter 8 of the User Guide. It is, of course, not as simple as FORTRAN Schedules and Conditions determine when a program runs. Actions can occur in Then and Else. Comments are appended to the programs. Commands are presented in a drop-down menu, parameters are selected from drop downs and scroll boxes. I agree there should be a list. I'll give it a shot. Rand Link to comment
Mark Sanctuary
Rand, If your going to make the command list for the ISY, and want it spread-sheeted in the Wiki. I can do this for you if you dump it out of Excel in a CSV file. I have a easy way to turn it into a table for the Wiki. I did it for Michel for the Error Code List real quickly. Link to comment
