1223PS (Smarthome Power adapter for ISY) doesn't fit?

So it says all over the place that if you switch from the older PLM to the new dual band PLM you need the 1223PS to power the ISY. Fine, so, I order it with the new PLM. But, the plug doesn't physically fit into the ISY? I have a 2.5(ish) year old ISY99IR/Pro in case that matters. What do I do now? It will cost me more to return this thing to Smarthome than the part costs, and on top of that, I still don't have a power supply. Did I do something wrong? Should I force the thing on there? It seems like it barely doesn't fit.

If this doesn't work, what are the parameters of the actual plug, and what amperage is best? I saw Monoprice has a 12v 2.1x5.5 plug, in .5amps an 1 amp. I think that is the correct physical size (or is it)? If that is the right physical size, do I use the .5amp or 1 amp version? I think the .5amp should be plenty to power the ISY, but I would rather be sure before I buy yet another adapter. (At least that one is less than $3...)

Any help would be great!

The ISY User Guide indicates the following ...

5-30 VDC

300 mA minimum

Center positive 2mm male barrel jack

What part does not fit? The hole in the back of the ISY is not large enough to accept the barrel or the center pin does not fit inside the barrel?

Although I am running with a 2412S at present I tried the 1223PS. It does fit my 1+ year old ISY-99i Pro/IR.

It would be helpful to know what does not fit.

UDI has posted that some ISY99is had a different sized connector in it.

I believe that they sent a few users a converter cable.

My power supply I got from Smarthome fits VERY tight and I didn't use it. I stole the one from my unused ISY26 as it fit perfectly.
