davefred99 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I am reading that this new module now exists but can not find it listed available anywhere ? I have been waiting nearly 2 years for this to come to market and am very interested in the details of what exactly is required. Do I just need an Isy 99 plus this module or is the module an upgrade to the Isy 99 ? Does this module replace the M1XEP module ?
davefred99 Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Under Help | Purchase Modules. I do not see anywhere on the Universal Devices Website that lists HELP. They are not listed in the store nor under devices either. I can only guess that this must be on the Isy control web interface page, but I do not yet have an ISY so i have no access to it. I just want to know what is required to make my Elk interface with the this new device and how much it will cost me.
Sparks Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 It's a SOFTWARE (firmware) upgrade add-in module for the ISY which you buy through the ISY admin page once you have it all set up and running. You still need to buy the ISY and PLM, and then it connects to the ELK M1 panel over your network via the M1XEP.
LeeG Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Base cost for Elk module is $99 with a 40% discount for those who participate in the Beta. See the following link for information on 3.1.12 which covers the Elk module at the very beginning of the post. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=7324 The Help | Purchase Modules is accessed after installing the ISY and invoking the Admin Console. All optional ISY modules are available this way.
