Is there a way I can get the Administrative Console on my Samsung Galaxy Tab?

Short answer: Regrettably, no. The console requires full Java. (Android imbeds a sort-of Java clone.) Would be nice though.

 

I use an RDP remote desktop app to connect to a PC when I need to see/use the admin console directly. A VNC app would work as well. It is a little clumsy, but workable when you need it.

 

If you just want to control devices, there are lots of browser-based solutions available, including the ISY itself of course. If you don't mind spending a little money, HomeSeer 2 is http based, and the ISY plug-in for it works well and exposes most things including programs.

 

If you need the diagnostic/logging/linking stuff though, then no option I know of other than a remote control app.

I was looking around based on this very question last night, as I'm going to be upgrading my home automation system from an EZServ to an ISY99i soon, and want to be able to interface with it from my Android phone and tablet.

 

There's an app called Conductor, and their publisher has a beta out for a Honeycomb app. Looking at the pictures, it looks very nice, and should let me do everything I want to do from my tablet or phone.

 

Apps and integrating functionality with mobile devices is going to be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL for home automation hardware vendors. ABSOLUTELY. CRITICAL.

 

We live in a connected world, where we have in our pockets powerful devices that we use to help run our lives in many, many aspects. Connecting these to home automation is an absolute NO BRAINER, and IMHO, should help increase awareness and market penetration for home automation.

 

After getting an EZServ and putting up with its severe limitations and the lack of development from the vendor, there's a HUGE opportunity for better more functional devices that allow more ways to interface.

 

Anyway, enough preaching... the OP should look into Conductor, as it may fill the need for interface from an Android device.

There are a couple of android apps that provide control of devices and scenes, conductor being the one that I use. I presume, from the specific mention of "admin panel", that the OP was looking for more than control...the ability to create and modify programs, scenes, and folders. While conductor provides the ability to control devices and scenes, as well as execute programs, Conductor does not provide the capability to manage your system (change programs, link devices, create scenes,...) Perhaps I read too much into it.
