Getting a closet light to go on?

I am attempting to have the light which is currently on a pullstring in the closet go on when the sliding closet door is opened. Which if any of the Insteon or Insteon compatible products would accomplish this for me? Or am I trying to do something that can't be done with the ISY-99i?

Thanks for any advice/guidance.

An InLineLinc 2475SDB can be installed in the light fixture. I'm assuming there is no wall switch that controls power to the closet fixture. An RF TriggerLinc 2421 installed on the sliding closet door detects when the door is opened, turning On the InLineLinc, and turning Off the InLineLinc when the door is closed.

You are correct about the wall switch. It is one of those old fixtures with a pull string. Does your same scenario apply to this?

Thanks a lot for your help!

I use an old x10 motion sensor mounted above the pantry door so when you walk in it triggers my insteon switch. The trouble with linking it to the door is that people tend to leave the door open. If you are going to close the door all the way every time, the triggerlinc is better than motion.
