Lost buttons on Keypadlinc?

For some reason I lost 3 different buttons on a 6 button Keypadlinc. I can't seem to restore them. What am I missing. The only thing that I can figure is I added a Smartlinc 4 button keypad and added scenes in the ISY-99. The smartlinc buttons work but not the keypad buttons. What can I do to get those buttons back controlling what they are suppose to?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I'm not familiar with a "Smartlinc 4 button keypad" (maybe a 4 Scene RemoteLinc2?). What is the device number (2444A2WH4 ?)?

What are the specific KeypadLinc buttons that have been lost? (ON/OFF, A,B C,D)? When one of the lost buttons is pressed On/Off does the Admin Console show a state change in the Current State column for the KeypadLinc button node?

It sounds like perhaps Set button links have been done outside of the ISY and were overlaid/erased when the ISY Scenes were defined. Have Set button links been created?

What were the lost buttons controlling? Another Insteon device where the links were defined with an ISY Scene, another Insteon device where Set button links were used to link the other device, or perhaps ISY Programs are no longer being triggered.

The solution could be a Restore Device for the KeypadLinc. Really need the detail of what is no longer happening and why before a specific solution can be identified.

Sorry about that. Yes its a Remotelinc 2. No it does not show a state change and yes set buttons links were made out outside of the ISY! Also the butttons are the ABCD buttons. I did try a restore device and it didn't work. If I use my Mobilelinc app on the phone it will work perfectly.

There are various tools available with the ISY to do a detail analysis of the current situation but if Set button links have been done the best solution is to delete the KeypadLinc from the ISY and add it back. That will restore all the link records the ISY requires and removes the Set button links in the process. That provides a known clean starting environment.

Once the device has been added back verify button press On/Off shows up on the Admin Console Current State column. Just to be sure some comm problem has not decided to show up now.

I think i got it. One thing, lets say I have two Keypadlincs and button A on Keypadlinc 1 controls a lamp and button A on Keypadlinc 2 controls the same lamp. How can I get button A light to go on when using/pressing the opposite or other Keypadlinc's button A?

Define a single ISY Scene that contains both KeypadLinc button As as Controllers and the Lamp as a responder. ISY will cross link the KeypadLinc buttons such that either button will control the Lamp and both button A LEDs will stay in sync.
