Using I/O Linc with ISY-99i to emulate a Keyswitch Vista 20P

Here's one I can't figure out . . .

I want to use an I/O Linc with a ISY-99i to emulate a Keyswitch on a Ademco Vista 20P.

I attempting hooking the Normally Closed and Common on the I/O Linc Output to Zone 8 (Programmed to type 77) it produces an alarm verses an arm or disarm.

Any advice or experience trying this?

Thanks!

The keyswitch input on the Vista Series panels has different possibilities based on how long the signal changes state. Also, are you sure it works with a normally closed input? I seem to remember having to use a normally open contact to trigger the state change.

The OP has the same question on the Smarthome forum. I raised the same question. The wiring diagram the OP posted describes and shows a momentary NO contact. I suggested using the NO Relay contact with one of the I/O Linc momentary modes. Have not seen additional posts on the subject.

I believe that the time the relay closes matters in this situation. If you close it for less than .5 sec then it does something. If you close it for more than .5 sec it does something else., etc, etc....

My memory is still blurry...Is there any chance that the "alarm" is a duress alarm?
