I note the ISY99i manual refers to installing new X10 devices and linking them to EZX10RF - what is the EZX10RF? Is it physical or in virtual? What is it's purpose? It refers to pressing a SET button, implying a physical device.

Access the www.simplehomenet.com web site. The EZX10RF is a Simplehomenet device that receives X10 RF On/Off signals and converts them into Insteon messages.

Am considering aquiring the A10/X10 module to accomodate the subject. Is that logical? I like the idea of being able to view the devices on the left of the Admin view.

Nothing wrong with that. Lots of folks like the same idea.
