I have one single TriggerLInc which I want to install on a door. I read the instructions and am a bit confused. I don't want the TL to turn on any light, instead I want to write a program that will "sense" the opening of the door by ISY and just send a simple e-mail. If so, what is the easiest way to set the TL up? Also will the TL talk with an AP which is pretty much on the other side of the house?

Simply add the TriggerLinc to the ISY. Write a Program If section that triggers with an On Status of the TriggerLinc Opened node. Impossible to say if TriggerLinc will be received by an AP on the other end of the house. That will have to be determined by testing.
