They do NOT work manually either..

They are < 10 years old. They dim every night at sunset and go to 75% at sunrise.

Off this particular subject, but the reason this started. Does anyone have an idea why some of these switches are reverting back to their own minds re: the LED backlighting? I raised this question a few months ago and the only idea was that memory in the switches might be exceeded which was later shot down. All the rest of my switches act as they should, two or three require this factory reset and reinstall routine.

So, I assume then that if this is Beta, the new AC isn't really ready for primetime, and I should keep using the old AC for now?

Finally getting around to seeing the new AC. Logged in via my 192.... address. I can see the switches and the programs but confused as there is no menu per se on the top. I have two switches that have been giving me fits since my changeover from 994 to eisy. They will not dim/brighten the led on a global switchover at sunset/sunrise as the others do. The only work around is to factory reset, then add bac into eisy. This has "forced" them to work for a period of time, then the lapse back to staying low led again. I thought I'd attempt to reset them again, this time using the new AC. Before I factory rest them, I want to know how to add them back in first. I know this new AC will become old hat after a while, but for now it's really Greek.

Is it advisable to mount the Zwave antenna remote from an extension? I recently turned the eisy a bit to get over a couple missed calls from my Schlage doors. I noted also at the same time that eisy was rather warm. I'm guessing that is the nature of the beast!

I'm trying to figure this phaseout - out. Am I understanding that in lieu of the AC you simply log into the eisy through the web address, in my case, 192.XXX.X.XXX? When I tried that I get an entirely new format. Is this what I need to learn? Thanks

I may well be the slowest guy on this forum! I managed to upgrade the unit to the new firmware - no issues that I can see so far. Took less than 20 minutes... I had to do the usual Java deletes in order for the AC to work - no problem there, Then I notes that the desktop icon was gone and the only way to access AC was through http://isy.ip/admin.jnlp . Worked fine. But I've tried everything I know to re-establish the UD icon for faster logins. The old tried and true way will not leave an icon.

I was going through things prior to the upgrade and noticed that the "FACTORY QUERRY" was "not loaded" and "out of memory" was shown in yellow on the program summary page. In looking at the program (not really sure what if anything it does for me), I see this in the comments: IF : time is 3:00:00AM THEN: Warning: Unrecognized Action (program may not run) <cmd ID="QUERY" NODE="00:21:b9:00:f7:f7"/> ELSE: no action One of my holiday programs had the same, but it was a program I don't use anymore so I just deleted it. Do I need this "querry"? If so, how to modify?

Figured it out. I think along with the many "glitches" I've experienced in the transition from 994 to eISY, I think that some of the Scenes also were corrupted in the move. I deleted this particular scene and rebuilt it and just like that it works. Moral of my story is a complete audit of all the remaining scenes and programs. This whole thing started with the backlighting not responding. That issue required each and every switch needing to be factory reset, deleted from eISY and then re-added back in. After that the backlighting adjustments worked perfect. I'm appreciative that everything works now, or will as soon as I get through the rest. I'm thrilled with my new eISY, and it's worth the minor inconvenience of these issues.

Let me try and elaborate. I have a scene, "NIGHT" which I push button "F" and the scene has a half dozen SWL's in it. Some dimmers, some just switches. I have set the ramp and % brightness in the scene under each unit. I push the button and they all go to rogue settings. In addition I have a dimmer mated with a KPL button that when the button is pushed would likely go to 33%. It goes full bright even though I have the level set to 33%. I know I'm missing something simple

I've had a boatload of issues with backlighting and today one thing led to another and many switches needed to be reset. I reset them to factory and then reloaded them into the eisy. A single lone switch was Ok , but scenes were all in need of reprogramming. I got the main backbone done, then I noticed that the scenes when triggered by a KPL button were not setting SWL's t the proper level. Can someone tell me how to program the ramp rates and brightness for each SWL in a scene. Also I thought by simply entering ramp/brightness in a SWL would tell the switch how to perform when the switch rather than a KPL button was pushed.
