LeeG Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 "it's just the light on the I/O is on" Is this the white LED on the side of the I/O Linc is bright indicating the Relay is On?
brewdog Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Concerning the I/O, it is the LED light in the side of the device. It is fairly bright in a dark garage ....
LeeG Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Thanks, not sure what to make of that though. If the Set button is tapped when the White LED is fairly bright does the White LED get brighter or dimmer?
Illusion Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 ... Do a search of My Programs with Find for the ToggleLinc name... EDIT: Also check the Membership list to see if the ToggleLinc is a Responder/Controller in an unexpected Scene If the device were being turned on by an unexpected program or scene, I would think the ISY would be aware of the status change at the moment the change occurred...before the 3am query.
LeeG Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Yes, in theory. I have never believed the Query was actually affecting the physical status of any device. Query returns the current state of the device. The fact that the ISY status changed indicates the device and the ISY were not in sync rather than Query physically changed the device state. 4.0.1 has a fix where if the Scene Responder On Level is set to 0% On Level, which reverses how the I/O Linc Relay reacts to Scene commands, the ISY indicated Relay status and the Relay physical state were direct opposites. If a Query was done the Query would change the ISY status but did not physically change the state of the Relay. When looking for a Zebra I don't take anything for granted.
swnewman Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Just wanted to jump on this bandwagon and report that I'm having a very similar issue. I posted over here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=10765 Hoping for a resolution.
