hyounker
Does anyone have any experience with using SwitchLincs outdoors? Here's what Smarthome says: Use only indoors or in an outdoor rated box. The box I am intending to use is an outdoor box and is currently used to house a non-Insteon dimmer, which worked great, until I replaced the entire circuit with an InLineLinc and plan to repurpose the switch wires for use with a SwitchLinc, if possible. I live in Georgia and it gets pretty hot out there! hyounker Link to comment
LeeG
I've used an ICON Relay on my dock for more than 5 years. It is in a weather resistant box with a hinged cover to access the switch. The foam seal on the hinged door has worked well. Probably exceeds operating range at times (NC) but I've had not trouble. Link to comment
oberkc
I use several outside, but protected from direct exposure to any precipitation, wind, or sun. Temperatures range from -15 to 100. Link to comment
