Reboot the ISY. If the value comes back to 2% that is the value in the thermostat. Then reset the thermostat and reboot the ISY in that order.

I soldered when this was discovered. Sorry to say ...Even if you reboot and get all to zero, the tstat will. Eventually register a non zero value again.

 

EDIT: Forgot that depending on version you can configure tstat not to send humidity updates so once at zero should stay.

The last thing I can think to try would be to remove power from the thermostat. If there is a humidity value in its memory that factory reset does not clear, removing power should. Leave power off for several minutes to be sure the power supply has drained Off.

I guess it was not the last thing. If the thermostat is measuring humidity as it does temperature in real time then how the solder tabs were shorted could be in question. Perhaps the jumper is not creating 0 ohms between the solder tabs, resulting in a very low humidity reading. Was a wire jumper used or a solder bridge?
