Bug report v3.10.00 iOS

When I disable a device in the ISY, later to enable it, I cannot add it to Mobilinc unless I download all instead of update; thereby, loosing all my favorites and icon assignments.

Hi Illusion,

Thanks for the report. We'll look at handling this better. The work around for now is to keep MobiLinc open and connected to your ISY while you log into the ISY using the Admin Console and Enable your device. The device will then appear in MobiLinc under My Devices and whatever folder it lives in.

The problem seems to come up when the app is closed with a disabled device. Upon relaunch unless MobiLinc "sees" the enable message in real-time it won't re-enable and show that device.

*UPDATE* After looking back over the code and refreshing why we did it this way, we did it this way on purpose. One can hide devices/scenes/folders in MobiLinc by doing a left to right swipe and tapping delete. This hides the devices/scene/folder, yet the ISY still reports these devices as Active. MobiLinc overrides the ISY's message and continues to hide these devices. MobiLinc will do this unless it sees an Enable device message from the ISY. This tells MobiLinc that the user, is in real time, wanting to enable/show this device and thus exposes the device. By simply starting up blind MobiLinc will default to it's own records for what to show the user.

A better way to hide device/scenes/programs in MobiLinc is to use the prefix tag found or set in MobiLinc under My Settings->MobiLinc Settings->Hide Text. Prepend this text to your Devices/Scenes/Programs using the Admin Console to auto-hide these devices from the MobiLinc interface. Keep in mind this text can be set to anything.
