ISY-26 and support of wireless Insteon devices

I have an ISY-26 using the last firmware (2.7.15) for that hardware. I realize this is an older (and somewhat obsolete) PLM. My system is working fine.

But I have wanted to add some Insteon wireless devices (2842 motion sensor and others) and cannot seem to add them to the ISY successfully. The model numbers (2842 and others) aren't in the list of devices to link. I have attempted to add them with "auto discovery" but the result is "failed to add..".

Is the best solution an upgrade to an ISY994 series of PLM?... for getting support of these wireless devices.

Upgrading to the latest firmware, either Official 3.2.6 or Beta 3.3.3, along with an ISY 994 and 2413S Dual Band PLM is the path. The 2413 PLM does not provide power so an external power supply is required to run the 994.
