I have a Remote Linc 2 (2444) and it appears (to me at least) that the bottom 2 buttons don't work. I have set the device in 8 button non-toggle mode, and when i press any of the other 6 buttons (a-f) i can see in the event viewer a message like : [ 1C 20 BD 3] DON 0,but when i press g or h, nothing. The led on the device flashes green, however so I know I have actually pressed the button. Is this a device issue, or something else?

Sounds like the link database has been compromised. Put the RemoteLinc2 into linking mode with its Set button, right click the RL2 Primary node (button , select Restore Device.

Actually, there should be no links, as I dd a factory reset and have not done any linking with it, but I will try this.

Doh! I figured it out. Turns out I must have linked it to the ISY in a mode where it ignored those buttons (4 scene?). When I looked at the ISY link table there were only links for the 6 buttons. So all I had to do was remove it from the ISY, the re-link it. Viola, it works now - all 8 buttons! Thanks for the clue on the link table, that's what mae me go look there.
