RichTJ99 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 So I lost power for about 2 weeks, I was running on generator power for a while. I have had some communication issues & I was hoping to get them figured out. I have two keypads, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs. They were linked, the upstairs has no load, the downstairs has the load. Previously when I pressed on or off for either they would be in sync. Now the downstairs one doesnt respond to the upstairs one. I tried to right click in the ISY admin & restore devices, but it doesnt seem to respond, its like the typical system busy bar doesnt really move quickly. I also see a few devices that are waiting to have writes sent to it, but it doesnt seem to ever clear (the green small icon). Any ideas how to force communications? I unplugged the PLM & ISY. Plugged the PLM in, waited 5 minutes, then plugged the ISY in, waited 5 minutes then logged in. Any idea on next steps? Thanks, Rich
Xathros Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 RichTJ99- Pull the airgap switch on the downstairs keypad for 15 seconds then push it back in. Be careful not to push it beyond flush with the frame or you may factory reset the keypad. Test again. -Xathros
RichTJ99 Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 I may have factory reset it before I posted here. How do I fix it if I factory reset it? It just seems non responsive to the ISY.
LeeG Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 After a Factory reset which clears the device link database, right click the primary node and select Restore Device.
