just bought the Elk Module

 

was logged in and it asked to restart in order to install new module. Did this a few times as the new module wasn't installing. Then I tried to log in and while the admin console comes up the login box no longer does (and no idea if the Elk module was installed)

 

SOLUTION TO LOGIN SCREEN - PLM came unplugged :0

 

Now the issue is that I can't get the Elk module installed - I follow instructions and when I reopen the device console - still no Elk module

I think I may have found the issue with adding the Elk module...the device console was at version 2.70.

 

So I have now tried to update automatically to 3.2.6...however...I'm now over an hour into the process and my screen is still showing 0% on the progress bar.

Got in touch with support (they are fantastic!) and the issue was that I was at such a low firmware that it had to be updated in smaller increments, so went from 2.7.0 to 2.7.15 to 2.8.16 to 3.2.6 and all was fixed.

Glad you got it working.

I agree the support from UDI should be a model for other companies to follow.
