problem linking 2420M motion sensor

Hi folks,

i've followed the instructions on the wiki: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... ion_Sensor but I am not able to link it to my ISY994

This is what I enter for the new device:

skitch.png

but when I press OK, that dialog closes and I get this following dialog and then nothing else:

skitch.png

i'm expecting to see the dialog where it tells me to put the device into linking mode, like it has for my 3 other motion sensors I've linked.

Any idea of what's going on? I'm on the v.3.2.6 firmware / v3.3.9 UI

The combination of ISY firmware of 3.2.6 and Admin Console (UI) of 3.3.9 is not a supported combination. Why is the Admin Console so much later than the ISY firmware being used?

Ah. I did update my java install recently per the post here: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10409 and downloaded the admin console listed there, which is 3.3.9. That's probably how I got the 3.3.9 admin console

I just downloaded the 3.2.6 version and ran that admin console, but am still having the same issue

Also, you need to select "Link a Motion Sensor" from the Link Management menu rather than "New Insteon Device". Then it will tell you to put the MS in linking mode before asking for name and address.
