JCBond Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Is there a limit on the distance between the ISY 994i Pro and the PLM? I know it is a normal Cat5 cable between them but is there a known distance between them that you would recomend not to excede? Link to comment
LeeG Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 The shorter the better. That is a Serial Port connection, rather than an Ethernet port connection. 50' is considered the max for a Serial interface but something on the order of 3-4' is the normal arrangement. Link to comment
