  1. I am now up and running with the Portal. Thanks so much for the quick response to the ticket I submitted yesterday. Don't realize how much you miss something until it is gone. Great job.

  3. Same issue this morning. Keeping fingers crossed
  4. I also obtained a new API from Weatherbit using a new email address and I am now able to get data again. I believe the old free plan allowed for 500 calls per day but don't hold me to this. The new plan allows 50 calls per day. I did contact support last week, but most likely because I am on the free plan, I did not get a response.
  5. Michel Thank you so much for helping me solve the issue I had with the Admin Console continuing to ask for my credentials and then reloading my programs. This was happening about every minute or so. You helped me troubleshoot my issue and, with your ideas and support, I was able to solve my problem. For others who may experience similar issues, I had a short power outage in June and since then I had the issue with the credentials. I had been using a surge protector to energize my ISY along with my Router. I suspected a failing ISY Power Supply at first and replaced it with one purchased from UDI. That did not solve the problem but once I removed the ISY and put it on a separate circuit. Problem solved!!! I cannot thank Michel enough for his patience and his help. I know his plate is full and I do not like to send in a trouble ticket unless I am at my wits end. In my previous life I had responsibility for Customer Service for an Electric Utility. His customer service should be written up in a book for other companies to emulate. You just don't see this level of Customer Service anymore!! Thanks again Michel.

  6. @Athlon Just completed a successful test with this format xxx-xxx-xxxx@vtext.com. Very much appreciate your help. I was not looking forward to going the pushover route even though in the long run that would be better.
  7. @Athlon Thank you so much for your research. I should have done that first before posting but to be honest, i did not think of doing that. I am in the process of testing with the individual and will respond back with the results. @hart2hart I went to pushover because the reliability was so bad with critical things in my home. However, my problem is I am working with a non-technical person some miles away. She has been using ATT and that was working for her. I am hoping we can get by with Athlon's suggestion because of the difficulty in getting her changed to something else.
  8. Does anyone know if there is the option to send a text message to someone that that has spectrum cellular. I could not find spectrum in the drop down and wondering if there is someone that partners with them for text messages. If there is not an option, I will see if I can get them to sign up for push messages. Thank you
  9. @Geddy After 2 hours of chasing my tail, I finally got this figured out thanks to you. I went back and created a new gmail account and set up two step verification. Once I did that, I was able to get the option to add the ISY. The take away here, and maybe obvious for others, is you need the two step verification set up before you get the app password screen to add the ISY and generate the code. I was at first concerned about setting up the two step verification for my original gmail account since I use that account for other things beside the ISY. I did not want to figure out how to use the two step each time I accessed my gmail on an older apple device. Maybe this is not a concern, but I thought I would just be safe. Thanks again for your help.
  10. Hoping someone can help. I just realized that my Gmail emails from the ISY are no longer working. I suspected this was going to happen as a result of the tighter security requirements that Gmail is imposing. So I setup an Outlook.com email account to use instead. Changing the email configuration in the ISY to the following gives me a "Mail server failure [TLS negotiation failed]. An internet search gave me information above my understanding. Hoping someone can help me through this. Thank You
  11. apostolakisl I still use your calendar programs. And I thank you for writing them.
  12. Lore. I had the same issue with my setup. I added an Aeotec zwave Smart Switch 7 with the parameter set so when re-energized, it would come back in the off position. Then I had an ISY program turn the switch on after the ISY stabilized to energize my Polisy. Works great. Hope this helps
  13. Just to put in my two cents and my reasoning may be all wet. I have always used a variable in these types of programs. One too reduce the load on the PLM and secondly to reduce the amount of communication traffic. As I said, my reasons may not be an issue ar all.
  14. About 6 weeks ago, I asked Michel if x10 was supported in Polisy IoP. His answer was Yes. I have a few x10 devices which I still need/use and I wanted to be sure x10 was still available prior to migrating. Mr Bill may have answered this in his posts above but I thought it might be useful to indicate what Michel told me. Although I have not migrated to IoP at this time.
  15. I have bought two Pi's from Chicago Electronics early last year. I have also bought from Canakit. Both were just fine. Shipping costs were less expensive from Chicago Elecronics because I am in the US. But I will say, Canakit was very helpful when I had some questions. i could not find any Pi's in December. Have not looked recently.
  16. I remember using my parents 78's as a frisbee long before they were sold as toys. Wished I had them now
  17. Chris, thank you very much for defining what the limits are. Feel much better as I continue to find Node Servers to add. @asbriland @MrBill Although I have both of you beat, it might mean I need to be more efficient in my programming. With what Chris told us, I am going to have to look at some of my programs. I have many that have 10 or more conditions/actions in them.
  18. With the advent of Node Servers and the great things one can do, I am approaching 1,000 Programs Plus Folders in the ISY. I seem to remember a forum discussion, which I cannot find, that indicated the number of Programs and Folders are not limited to 1,000 anymore. If that is the case, does anyone know the new limit if there is one. I suspect the limit may be based on how complicated some of the programs are. Thank you.
  19. @Michel Kohanim What I did this morning was restart the Notification, TimeDate and Inventory Node Servers and, after that, performed a Query. I know I should have tried the Query first but got ahead of myself. Note, even though I restarted these node servers, the Query was needed to populate the fields. I have everything populated except the LeapYear Field in the TimeData. Not a major issue for me but maybe for others. But in Summary, with the switch in place to keep the Polisy from Starting before the ISY stabilizes, that does solve the lost Credentials Problem. And even though the Screens are not populated in the Admin Console without a restart or a Query, the Nodes still have data behind them so programs and Network Resources do work. If anyone else wants to use this approach, I used this Zwave Device which can be programmed to be off with loss of power. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PKLBKW4 Thanks for letting me be part of your debug process. Have a great day.
  20. @Michel Kohanim Just noticed this. None of the 6 nodes for the Notification Node Server that work correctly and have the correct tone when tested, have any data shown for them. I also tested one of them by running the "then" in a program and it works correctly. So tomorrow I will restart the node server if no information shows up over night. As I said I am still getting messages so not worried about missign something overnight. This is screen shot of the node controller
  21. @Michel Kohanim Here are the results of the simulated Power Outage this afternoon. All times are PM CDT 1:28 Power off - Includes ISY, Polisy, Router/Modem and Tag Manager 1:35 Power On 1:38 Internet Available 1:52:38 ISY Startup - PushOver Message direct from their site 2:04:45 Zwave Switch Energized and Polisy Started 2:05:40 Polisy Completed Start up 2:07:09 Push Message from Polyglot Node Server on Polisy 2:09 Started ISY Admin Console Note: Some of the seconds are estimates The following are the results after looking at the Admin Console Inventory Node Sever has no data entries but indicates true in Total Nodes Tag Node Server updates and is connected Notification Node Server has 7 nodes, 1 has an exclamation Point Icon in Red, but when testing that node, it pushes a message with the default tone. The other 6 nodes have the correct information and push the correct tone TimeDate Node Server has some information and that information is correct. But nothing populated in Sun Rise and Sun Set Screen OpenWeather Node Server has data populated and it appears correct Not sure if this is a correct assumption, but I bet once we have a complete 24 hour cycle, data will be populated in these Node Servers where there is none. But this could cause a problem for those using the vacant information in programs. Hope this information is helpful Here are the ISY programs I am using: Here is screen shot for the TimeData node server Here is a screen shot of the Notification Node Server screen for the node that does not populate correctly and has the red icon.
  22. Michel i will try to run this test tomorrow or no later than Friday morning. Happy to help
  23. Michel What I can do later this week is simulate a total power outage. That means having the ISY reboot and have it energize the switch that tuns on the Polisy 20 minutes later I know my solution works with the ISY running and the Polisy turned on and off but I have not tried with both units having to reboot. Would this be helpful?
  24. Michel I have had this issue with the loss of my credentials with three different ISY's so it has to be something in my setup. I have tried a number of things including slowing down the startup process with the ISY, but the Polisy always loses my credentials. I just happened to have the ISY running and I unplugged the Polisy to move it, when I started it up, I did not have to reenter my credentials and the node servers were connected. After that experience, I bought the switch and delayed the energizing of the switch until the ISY stabilized. This just works but I have no idea why. Hopefully once everything is in one box, it won't matter any more.
  25. @techman. No problem. I owed you for a previous favor!
