About a year and a half ago, I bought 3 Eve Home Energy (Matter) modules (On/Off) to use to control our inside Christmas decorations replacing the Insteon modules I had been using. These Energy modules include a Thread Border Router and after installing all 3, they began to communicate with each other. Some links were weak as they are spread around the house, but they worked. They are as fast as if not faster than the Insteon modules. I have started using Apple TV for my TV connection instead of the cable boxes, so I have several around the house. The newer Apple TV's include a Thread Border Router. I added the Eve Energy modules to Home Kit on one of the Apple TV's and it joined the existing Thread network. Now all the Apple TV's are on the Thread Network. This has given me a very solid network for Matter devices. Initially, I used Home Kit to automate the Eve Energy modules and they have been very reliable. I don't remember the exact release, but it's now possible to join eisy to devices on an existing Thread network using the Set Up code for the device. I did that using UD Mobile. Adding worked as expected. Now I can see these devices in eisy and II have all programming for the Eve Energy modules in eisy. It's working great. I'm sure there's more to come from UD, but there's enough there to get started with something useful.

I had the same issue after a macOS update. The fix in Safari is to access eisy-ui using http://eisy.local:443. Remove the "s" in the address. I assume it has something to do with a certificate, but I don't understand enough about them to figure out what's wrong. Before the macOS update, the secure address using https worked.
  3. @Jimbo.Automates I have some additional information related to this issue. When the ELK plugin disconnects and then reconnects, I see error messages in the PG3x log that seem to be related to reloading the profile. Could this be the reason some of the status or attribute labels like Ready to Arm are not displaying in either UD Mobile or eisy-ui? Any help would be appreciated. Mark ELK Plugin Error.rtf.zip
  4. Thanks @DennisC. Tried that and it didn't fix it. I re-installed the plug-in, but that didn't work either. I added the issue to the issues list for the plug-in to see if the author has any suggestions.
  5. After upgrading to OS 14.3 & IoX 6, status labels in the ELK plugin are shown as numbers and not the corresponding text in UD Mobile and eisy-ui. Status labels are shown properly in the Admin Console(Java). I’ve also noticed that the ELK plugin disconnects and then reconnects when viewing the plugin in UD Mobile under Settings and logging into eisy-ui. Anyone else seeing this behavior?
  6. After installing eisy-ui manually, I was able to login using my portal credentials. As anticipated, I had to use my portal credentials to login to the current Admin Console instead of using my IoX credentials. Today, I get a Network Error when I try to login to eisy-ui and I have to use my IoX credentials to login to the Admin Console. The only thing I'm appear has changed is my macOS version which I just updated and I don't see how that might have impacted eisy-ui. Is anyone else seeing something like this? I remember an update from UDI was planned for this week and maybe the prep for that is having an impact. As a note, I can login to my portal without error.

@oberkc, I found this in the eisy-ui wiki: Using eisy without connectivity Although eisy-ui requires your portal username and password, it will work without Internet connectivity. When you log in; If there is connectivity, it will check your credentials against portal. If there is no connectivity, it will authenticate you using a cached copy of your credentials. The cached copy of your your portal password is encrypted using one-way encryption (It's technically a hash of your password). In addition, if there is no connectivity, a few features will be disabled, such as: The PG3x/Plugins store. The PG3x/Plugins purchases page. Plugins themselves will continue to run, unless they need connectivity. I'm adding this based on my own experiences: eisy will continue to run the same as the plug-ins unless a node needs external connectivity. The Java based Admin Console still works, but please note the release notes for eisy-ui; you may need to use your portal credentials to login to the old Admin Console. It's based on some factors I don't totally understand, but since I installed eisy-ui, I have to use my portal credentials to login to the Admin Console. It still works the same.
  8. It's my understanding that eisy-ui will completely replace the Java based Admin Console. This is an excerpt from the eisy-ui Wiki: These are the design goals of eisy-ui: Provide a nice and configurable web based dashboard to interact with your home. Get rid of our old Java based Admin Console. Integrate the plugins system in the same web interface. Simplify access to your eisy by using standard http (80) and https (443) ports for everything. Simplify access by using only one set of user/password: Your portal username and password. Continue to support both local-first operations and still provide cloud capabilities. eisy-ui is still beta software, and many features will be added in the coming months.
  9. I'm having the same issue after updating this morning. I checked my ISY version and it's still 5.9.1_18, so it doesn't seem anything new was installed during the update. I don't think the new upgrade files are out there yet. @bmercier can you verify Upgrade Packages is installing eisy-ui? Doesn't appear to be.
  10. I have successfully added three Eve Energy(Matter) plugs to eisy using the new Setup Code method in UD Mobile. These plugs were already part of a Thread Border Router setup using Apple TV and the HomeKit app. I decided to get some experience with Matter last year and used these to run Christmas decorations. I have several Apple TV's around the house, so access to the Thread network is excellent. Now with the ability to add these plugs to eisy, I can use it to create more robust programming unavailable in HomeKit. It's very fast and has so far been very reliable. Please note that only On/Off is available in eisy right now. I assume we will eventually get some of the energy information so I can monitor that to tell me when bulbs need to be replaced.
  11. @Michel Kohanim, I've got 3 Eve Energy devices running on an Apple TV border router. They are not in any critical application right now, so I'm happy to help test when you have something available. Mark
  12. I'm going to wait. No features in this update I have to have right now. Everything is running nicely right now.
  13. I deleted them from the PG3 interface and that deleted them from IoX. Cleaned everything up. Thanks.
  14. Ross, thanks for reminding me. I was in a hurry and it slipped my mind. Thanks again.
  15. @bpwwer, hail took out by old weather station and I've now replaced it with another Ambient Weather station. I deleted the old station on my Ambient Weather network and when I restarted the Ambient Weather node server, it saw the new one but kept the nodes for the old one. What's the best way to get rid of the old nodes: Delete and reinstall the node server or manually delete the nodes in either IoX or PG3? Mark
