  1. Joe, I'm having the exact same issue....using the same setup you have right down to the iPhone! Did you find a solution? I read somewhere that their might be a firmware upgrade for the ISY99 that is supposed to improve i/o linc sensor communication. Do think this might help? I wish we could get this thing working...
  2. any ideas?
  3. DING DING DING DING!!!!! that was it!!!! I did not realize that each controller ( RL button in this case ) could/needed to be setup.. That totally fixed one of them BUT... Now one of my i/o lincs turns off when i hit "all lights on" and on when i hit "all lights off" I must have something hosed up?
  4. I used the "New Scene" button to creat my Scenes and I'm pretty sure that i right clicked on the "Button" (EX4 RL#) or device in the device tree and chose "add to a scene" - i might have done drag and drop but i dont remember for sure. is there a specific way this should be done? Thanks again for you great assistance! Dwayne
  5. Ck this out...

  7. Thanks for your responce - However, when i go to tools -Diagnostics - Display Links - the I/O linc it only listed as "Sensor" not relay but i ran the list for it anyway and got the following (Amoung Other things)... OFCO:A2 04 13EBFF !F 00 so what does that tell us? Thanks Again

  9. I am using I/O linc (v1.3 1010) to control the display of my computer monitor. I have set up a scene controled by my remote linc button #3 (RL3) to control the i/o linc. It works fine - when i turn the button on the monitor display comes on and visa versa. However: I have a problem when I add the I/O Linc to another Scene (in this case controlled by Button #4 (RL4)) where there are already other responders. For this scene i need to turn off the monitor ( controled by the I/O linc ) while turning on some lights ( controled by appliance Linc ) and turning off others (controled by toggle linc ) I have programed the scene to the proper settings ( on or off ) for each device and everything works properly except that the I/O Linc always turns on when I activate the scene - BUT i have the I/O linc set to off in the scene! I have tried this several different ways and with two different I/O Lincs but i get the same results. I cant make an I/O linc turn off when i turn on a scene. It Does however - respond properly to "All Off" and "All On"
  10. Dang - you guys have thought of everyting THANKS!
  11. One other question.... i need to link an I/O linc to a button so that it momentarly closes a circuit and then re-opens the circuit to send a signal to a piece of equipment. I know i could write a porgram to do this but, I have heard about linking the I/O Linc in "momentaty mode" What is the best way to do this? Thanks D
  12. You are correct, the method recommended by Sub-routine is much faster!!! Thanks again!!!!!
  13. DING DING DING DING DING DING!! That fixed the problem!!!! Everything works just like i need it to when i use "Control" instead of "Status" Thanks SOOOOOO much!! You guys are awesome
  14. I wish this were true - however, when i press the 'on' side of the button and check the status in the UD Admin Console, it shows as 'on' until i press "off" then it shows "off" Thanks for your input D
  15. Rand, Thanks for your quick reply... i was hoping that there was a way to set the button to off. Here's what i'm trying to do.... I am an optometrist and i'm trying up scenes based on my eye examination procedures. I need 4 basic scenes 1) all lights on 2) all lights off 3) Exam chart light only on. 3) Reading Lamp only on. i need to be able to go from one scene to any another other scene randomly without having to turn each scene off before switching to the another scene. this is what i need to happen If "button 5" is on then turn on scene 5 then turn button 5 off else take no action (scene 5 turns off every light but the Exam chart.) This works fine but since i have turned button 5 "on" i must turn it off before i turn it on again. this causes a problem if i go from this scene to another scene and need to go back to scene 5. (without turning it off) otherwise im punching twice as many buttons - which defeats the purpose of using scenes. That's why i wanted to set button 5 to off after it had turned on scene 5- then it would be ready to set scene 5 again when needed. Is there a better way to do what i need using the RemoteLinc? Thanks so much for your time Dwayne
  16. How to i add Button number 5 on my RemoteLinc to a scene using my isy99pro as a responder? I need to be able to turn it on and off from within a program. Thanks in advance for your help Dwayne
