Sounds logical - I'm also wondering if it'd be better in the long run to just buy a new ISY 99x (what would be the best version?) However, a firmware ugrade might be quicker ( and get me out of a time crunch. Since, im going out of town next weekend and it'd be nice to have my house under the "control" of my H.A.S.

IM TRYING TO REPLACE MY OLD 2413s v2 with a new 2413s v2.5 MY ISY99i I followed the afore mentioned instructions to the letter. and when I clicked "Restore Modem (PLM) nothing happened.. I've waited all day and nothing is happening... my dashboard cant control or query any of my devices. I see them on my list in the "'Main" tab but it doesn't appear that my ISY99i is able to communicate with my PLM, but I'm not sure of anything - it just looks like nothing has happened. Is there any progress indicator so that i can monitor the progress of this process? I must be missing something here is my error log.. one other question - after I remove my devices (appliance linc / togglelinc ) from the ISY, would it be a good to do a factory reset on them so that we are sure things are clean?

I was a good 40' away and 6 ft from Dual band I did not press bright dim - I just did a "write updates to device" from the admin panel

this did not help - i was thinking that since the Remote lincs only control lights in my optometric examination rooms which do not need to be a part of a program or turned on or off by the isy - could I just remove the RL and all responders from the ISY and then manually link the to the buttons on the RL? I really need to enhance the reliability if things Thanks D

thanks again for the info Im have 4 remotelincs - at least 3 are having issues i will try the distance method to see if that fixes things and report back to you

I am attempting to create a scene by liking a couple of ApplianceLinks and a togglelinc wall switch to one of the buttons on my RL. when i press the RL button i want one ApplianceLinc to turn on / one ApplianceLinc to turn off / the Togglelinc to turn off... I am following the instructions for linking the RL button (press for 10 seconds then tap for multi add) I then press the LED button on AL #1 while it is turned on / then the second AL with it turned off and the both seem to linc correctly so that they function a desired.. BUT when I press the set button on the Togglelinc (which i have set to "off" - the desired state for the sene) it's load turns on and it links to the RL button so that when I press the RL button, the togglelinc turns on instead of off or remaining off. what am i missing? thanks for your expertise

I have an 8 button KPL that i am using to control christmas lights... I have one button controlling my inside lights scene - works just fine - when i press the button, all devices toggle on and of with a button press and the LED indicates if the scene (and device) is on or off... I have another button controlling my outside lights scene - will not work- when i press the button, the LED toggles on and off but none of the devices toggle on and of with a button press ... however when the scene is controlled by my iPhone app or the user console everything (including the KPL LED) toggle on and off. when setting up the scene, i added it from the console as a controller... What am i missing?

hello, I am setting up a new computer and all i get is the Java Circle spinning and spinning.. It's a win7 64 bit system but i'm pretty sure my IE is 32 ( have both versions of Java installed) still works on other win7 computers in same office... Thanks for helping
