I entered a feature request on Github for this a while back - @Javi is aware.
-
I have the Baldwin Touchscreen Z-Wave lock which is a Kwikset 916 underneath. There is no separate app, but it works well with IoX. My one gripe is that the ability to set and delete users is missing from UD Mobile (you can do it in Admin). I can write programs to notify me of which user locked or unlocked the door (manual operations are indicated as User 0.)
-
Interestingly, my three ZSE42 leak sensors all have the outstanding write icon, but I have no clue why.
-
Here's mine that was added with security and has 5V power. As far as I know, the ZSE29 doesn't stay awake even on constant power. I don't have any writes pending.
-
Yes, I spent a LOT of time on this, adding and excluding, over and over, before I finally got them with all their nodes in place. It was very frustrating. Right now everything is working (except for the Zooz leak sensors whose battery reports bounce all over the place), but I do wish UD Mobile would implement adding/deleting lock users - I have a long-standing feature request for this.

I have two ZSE29. One I was able to add with S2 security, the other one I had to disable S2 to get it to add. Both work, though. I have one on continuous power, one on battery, but the ZSE29 doesn't know the difference. I am going to hold off on 5.5.7 for now, especially given the report of Kwikset 916 lock trouble, as my Baldwin is a 916 underneath.
-
Note that the Baldwin lock is a Kwikset 916 internally, not Schlage - even though they use a Schlage-compatible keyway.

One of the things promised with Eisy and the Zmatter dongle was the ability to update Z-wave device firmware directly. (Currently I must do this with a Zooz dongle on my PC.) I don't see any Admin options for this - have I not found them, or are they not yet implemented?
-
I can't get the ZEN34 to show its status nor anything regarding scenes. I do see basic control on and off messages in the event viewer, and I can trigger programs on that, but this is much less than I got with the ISY994.
-
5.5.5 is supposed to support the Zooz ZEN34, but I can't get this to work. Removed and re-added it. I get Wall Controller, Wake Up and SC Basic Control, but nothing about the actual switch (on/off or scenes, etc.) On the other hand, my three ZSE42 leak detectors are now properly seen.

I have a ZEN34 - doesn't work with 5.5.5. Shows up as Wall Controller, with entries for Wake Up and SC Basic Control, but nothing recognized as a switch.

I have an Insteon 2448A7 USB dongle that I was using with my ISY994 (with a serial adapter). Now I have an Eisy, which is said to natively support the 2448A7 - great! I enable Insteon support, plug in the dongle, reboot, and try to add an Insteon device (at the time I did the migration to the Eisy, I didn't have any Insteon devices on the ISY.) I go through the initial dialog to identify which device I am adding (a leak detector in this case), it tells me which button to push, etc., which I do. Then... nothing. No activity in the event viewer, nothing in the log, nothing on the screen. Is there a way for me to see if the Eisy is even seeing the 2448A7? What sort of diagnostics can I do? The Eisy User Guide references a "Restore PLM" option, but I don't see that anywhere. (The page it links to is for the ISY99i, and there is no such option in the Admin that I can find.)

@Geddy, thanks for the reply. I find the Polyglot UI to be opaque and difficult to discover. I did read the Eisy User Guide, but there is very little there about Polyglot. Basically, I got as far as installing a node server, and then was left adrift. Neither server's Wiki page told me what to do next. Now I know what to look for, but it was confusing.
-
It seems that a reboot of IoX showed me the Service page with the button.
-
Never mind - a reboot of IoX showed me the values.
-
I migrated from an ISY994 to Eisy, and have installed two Polyglot node servers so far (Flumewater and MyQ). The documentation for the MyQ server talks about a "Service page" with a "Discover devices" button, and I see people posting pictures of a screen with this, but I can't find it in the Polyglot web UI (nor in Admin, which I expected.) I can't find a Wiki on general Polyglot use either (other than how to purchase node servers.) Please point me in the right direction - thanks.

That "local control disabled" option controls whether a separate switch wired to the controller is recognized. It should have no effect on Z-wave operation. I am finding that most of my Zooz devices misbehave with the Eisy. ZSE42 leak sensors don't show up as leak sensors, ZEN34 Remote Switch isn't seen as a switch, the ZEN17 is only partly recognized, uselessly so, and I could get ZSE29 motion detectors to add only in insecure mode. Yeah, I know that Zooz doesn't support UD hubs, but these were all working with my ISY994 - why not with the Eisy?

I am new to Polyglot, having migrated from an ISY994 to an Eisy. My first node server install was this one, for Flumewater. I entered the configuration values for username, password, API ID and secret, and I now have the Sensor and Hub showing up in IoX admin. I'm at a loss as to what to do next - I saw in another post a nice display of values from the Flume, but I have nothing. Tried doing a Query, nothing. Obviously I am missing some fundamental part of using node servers. Thanks for any help.

How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup
Steve L replied to Chris Jahn's topic in IoX Support
I did not - it came preassembled from UD. They are replacing it. -
How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup

My Zmatter dongle appears to be DOA. No matter what I do, or what support suggests, the Eisy says there is no Zmatter dongle. Internal logs show the Eisy trying but getting no data back. I hope Monday will have a new response from support with next steps. -
5.5.4 is STILL not seeing my Zmatter dongle. Argh. Ticket updated.
-
The board and enclosure is for Polisy, I think. UD sells a Zmatter USB dongle that plugs into the Eisy.
-
Folks, please put these designs up on printables.com ! STL, at least, STEP if you have them as well. Thanks!
-
I updated the Eisy to 5.5.3 and tried again, with the identical symptom - no response at all from "Add a Z-Wave Device". My guess is that the dongle simply doesn't work, though it is recognized. I filed a ticket with UD.
