  1. I purchased 4 Insteon LED bulbs. The only instructions provided were to use an Insteon Controller to link to the buib by putting the controller into linking mode and turning on the light. The bulb stays in linking mode for 4 minutes. I tried adding a bulb using the insteon address shown on the bulb and all the system seemed to do is go through initialization without stopping. I hope that I can link my bulbs to the ISY99i so I don't have to either purchase more outlets or additional lamplnks.
  2. I finally fixed the Climate reporting issue when I found that I needed to increase the polling interval from 1 second to a minium of 60 seconds. I also changed the location ID from the zipcode to the weather reporting station near this zipcode which was NASJRB Fort Worth. Once I did this, the Climate Module once again was reporting the correct weather data. Thanks the then Universal Devices tech support for your assistance. Mike Earnhardt
  3. Michel: The WB was working great until about two weeks ago.. I have internet access if I choose to set IP address to static.. If I set a static IP address it doesn't seem to work. Now that I have internet access again, I see a link to WB which opens to their site and I can view the weather. Before when I chose climate, the various weather information was available on the same screen when I opened the WB module. That is why I was asking. I thought perhaps something changed in the application. By the way, last night I lost the status of all my devices but after unplugging the ISY and attemptiing a reset, they came back but the firmware remained at 8.2.1. I thought doing a reset might enable me to load the current released firmware instead. Now that I am using 8.2.1 I will keep it and look forward to the non-beta version.

  5. Before I received your suggestion, I cleared my Java Cache again and reinstalled the update. It now works. I also checked the PLM and its fine. I still can't get any feeds any longer and it looks like Weatherbug RSS wants a username/password account to receive feeds. I thought this was included in my purchase for $49.95?
  6. I upgraded to this Beta but now all my programs are gone and I can't add any. How do I downgrade to the latest release version?
  7. I am still unable to enable internet as I keep getting a message that the ISY can't find the gateway. I realize now that when I open the configuration screen that it doesn't display all of the information such as climate or networking. I no longer have an option to select either DHCP or enter the network parameters which I did when I first installed the ISY and it worked right out the box (including enabling the internet) without having to change any settings on my router, which is a Linksys router which does support upnp port forwarding. I thought that upgrading the 2.7.7 would fix things and I even did a factory reset and still no luck.
  8. I tried disabling the internet via telnet and received the following response: LOGGER:-80008: n=[null] c=[null] a=[null] H_ERROR:-80008 : No Internet Gateway found. Then the message on the webpage "Unable to enable the internet". Now what should I do? Mike Earnhardt
  9. I checked my port forwarding on my router and 443 is forwarded for my HP Home Server. I had been successful in enabling my internet before I installed the PLM 4212S and was using the 4213S which I returned. Now when I try to set the web server access ports via telnet or the configuration manager I get an error. I hadn't made any changes to my system but it still won't work. Since Port 443 is already being used for my home server, what do you suggest. Its funny that when I first installed the ISY, I did nothing more than select the enable internet under the file menu and it work perfectly. Now it doesn't. Please advise what I should do.
