  1. I maybe off base but could this be Double NAT issue/loop?
  2. For a simple test plug in an appliancelinc into the plug and then plug your pump into it. If you can turn on/off the pump then the Insteon signal is able to reach the pool. Then rip out the Hayward stuff and use a On/Off outdoor Insteon Module. Keep it simple.
  3. We can't be completely a cure that the API wasn't given to UDI. You only heard from one side. Plus that doesn't prove anything. UDI has an employee who works for Smarthome/Insteon. Come on. That has nothing to do with reliability either. The other question is why would want a PLM in your hub when they are crap OR why wouldn't Smarthome allow UDI the PLM chip? This my friends is the bigger mystery! [emoji12]
  4. It really comes down to two choices. Using the ISY portal or MobiLinc portal. Look at this discussion for details, UDI vs Mobilinc smart home skill https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=23986&share_tid=21339&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforum%2Euniversal-devices%2Ecom%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Ftopic%2F21339-UDI-vs-Mobilinc-smart-home-skill&share_type=t
  5. Siri Integration, now we are talking! PM Sent.
  6. Park in the garage?
  7. Maybe - file a support ticket with UDI.
  8. You have to use the non secured port.
  9. Come join us in this thread specifically for the wireless tags. The Kumoapp script is there for ISY integration using variables. CAO sensors support https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=23986&share_tid=8818&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforum%2Euniversal-devices%2Ecom%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Ftopic%2F8818-CAO-sensors-support&share_type=t
  10. Price per Amazon DOT makes it the winner for my home, I have four now.
  11. They do make "rain proof" versions for outside.
  12. NOTHING will stop smash and grabs. Your not going to win the argument with people. #BeTheBiggerPerson #LetItGo - The rest of us understand your point and some even agree with you.
  13. Its time for "Stu'wies Sexy Party"! https://youtu.be/dCUXjdlaJII
  14. ??? Its there for me. Scroll down by add cart.
  15. If you go to the tags and order there's a drop down to select the tag type. Its the "weatherproof" one your after. I don't get the range they say so I didn't respond to this thread for it being a solution. YMMV Hope they work for you. I love my tags for other things temperature related. Edit: Added the URL https://store.wirelesstag.net/products/wireless-tag-pro
  16. http://doteverything.co/ +Dev friendly. If you like I can introduce you to Kunal or Grant at IOTA. PM me if your interested. Or email them and tell them Scott at Alpha Concepts sent you. I have DEV DOT myself that I am playing with for a project. Edit: Added screenshots plus wanted to add the DOTs are cheaper than iBeacons
  17. I use "Light Dims" as well. I am a bit extreme but I also have some in my suitcase and take them with me when I travel and use them in my hotel rooms.
  18. You should share your WAV files on a free service like Dropbox for people who want to do the same thing as you. Would save many a lot of time and help the community.
  19. Why this is "technically" true there is a work around. If you have the portal you can use IFTTT with your Honeywell TStats. [emoji3]
  20. Use Pushover with the API its great and reliable. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i_Series_INSTEON:Networking:Mobile_Notification
  21. Update on anyone interested in the "other DOTs" - My test unit will be shipped out this week and I should have the SDK with development not too far behind. EDIT: Added baby DOTs pic
  22. Followup. It was defective IOLincs. I got the new one installed and all is good with the world. I can confirm the versions I got were v2.4 and you do indeed hear a "CLICK" sound when pressing the "SET" button on the side which turns it on/off. My defective ones didn't. What timing! Help a member with theirs and mine dies.
  23. Glad that worked for you. As for VText not sure as I dont have Verizon but there's a ton of SSL and security changes happening so maybe something with that?
  24. Are you using iOS? If so you can install the GMAIL app you will get notifications instantly when you get email. The gmail app pushes new emails where as the Apple Mail app fetches. I just sent myself a test message and got a iOS notification from the Gmail app within 10 seconds or so. Maybe give that a try?
