  1. Note that each controller can set different Levels and Rates for the scene devices. You may want to use the Copy Scene Attributes... button for each controller. Rand
  2. Very nice Mark!
  3. I'm glad you got it fixed. I think it's an issue with the router. They all need access to the internet.
  4. Unselect the Catch up schedules at Restart on the Configuration panel. ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:System_Configuration
  5. Hi Mark, Yes, the programs get cached. As soon as the first sees a Wait the next program will start. There is a Missed Schedule Grace Period on the Configuration panel in case the ISY is busy when a program is due to run. AFAIK they run in order according to their ID. Usually this is the order they are created in. But new programs will take the ID of a deleted program. If you need a specific order add one second to the start time. Your second example will quit after one second because of the Wait. A Repeat would make one loop. Rand
  6. Hi someguy, Does your NTP server update? Can you send notifications? Have you changed anything on your network? Rand
  7. That is correct. In Auto the fan runs as required by the HVAC. The thermostat does not send separate fan states because the thermostat does not control the fan. If On the fan would always run and the status should reflect On.
  8. Fan mode also will not update unless you switch between On/Auto.
  9. Depending on how many devices you have Restore Modem (PLM) can take hours. You will have to perform this step for your scenes to work properly. Restore Modem has to change all the links in your devices that point to the old PLM and replace them with links that point to the new PLM. If Restore Modem is still working changing ramp rates takes a back seat. I am sorry I didn't realize this was an older ISY. If you will contact us we can save you some money with a trade-in rather than buying a new unit from Smarthome. We can't help with the PLM though. Rand
  10. No, there is no method for the ISY to set the time.
  11. The 5 wires you have should work. R and C for the +24VAC, one each for fan, heat, and cool. The guide shows wire #6 for 2-stage heating, but then you would already have W2 connected. http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/30412a_install.pdf Rand
  12. dudenator, After replacing a PLM you need to run the Restore_Modem from the File menu. This should replace all the links in your devices with links to the new PLM. Rand
  13. It really sounds more like your PLM was toasted. When you use Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info does the PLM show connected? Can you add any devices to the ISY? For the IP address I believe Darrell helped you set a reservation in your router. This is based on the MAC address of the ISY and a reset of the ISY will not change this. A reset of the router would eliminate this but I don't know why you would want to. As it is you should still have internet access to the ISY. Rand
  14. Hi rtt3821, There is no Then section for folders. What errors are you seeing? Did you have a backup to restore before you performed the reset? It may be the PLM locked up after the outage, if you haven't yet I suggest unplugging it for a few seconds. Rand
  15. This is on our list of enhancements. Right now all you can do is change the name of the program. Rand
  16. Hi Joe, Insteon devices can use both the Insteon address and an assigned X10 address. You can remove an X10 address using the process described in the guides for each device or you can factory reset the device. The devices can be added to the ISY as Insteon by using the Start Linking button and pressing the set button on each device. ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Tool_bar#Start_Linking Rand
  17. I hope you can update the forum software Mark. I am very much lost with that and I know it will be a great improvement! Rand
  18. The shell command is SM (Show Memory) ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Advanced_Configuration_Guide#SM_.E2.80.93_Show_Memory_Utilization. There is no use for expanded memory as far as devices, scenes, and programs are concerned. The extra RAM can be used to store web pages if you have the Networking Module installed. The link Michel posted is a reference to the alpha 2.8.0 GUI. Rand

Yes. You will have to Restore ISY and Restore Modem (PLM). Rand
  20. Hi picc02766, Yes, please try entering your email address in the From field. Rand

Please call Smarthome and ask for a replacement. We will sort out which parts are bad later. Rand
  22. I think we have fooled around long enough. Would you please call SH and request a replacement package? They should send a new ISY, PLM, and power supply. Rand
  23. Hi Paul, Perhaps you could use the Wind Speed or the Gust Speed (less variable). Rand
  24. Hi Steve, It is not an issue but a feature. Best suggestion I have is to Copy the program and move the copy out of the Folder(s). Then experiment away! When the program is not in the folder you can Disable it and still use the Run If, Run Then, Run Else. Rand
  25. Hi Mike, I am using the default 60 seconds. Since the data reflects the current conditions my program provides a buffer. In my example it would have to remain dark for 5 continuous readings before the lights turn on, or vice verse. I think it would work well for your wind speeds and temperature. IMHO It always bothered me to install lighter (cheaper) materials but the contractor and owner always made that decision. Personally, I always thought the labor cost more than offset the material savings. Rand
