I'm so glad this update came out today. The i2 dimmer on-level/ramp-rate bug that was in 2.6.9 and fixed in 2.6.10 apparently was NOT fixed for new i2 1000W dimmers - only the 600's. I just installed a brand new 1000W dimmer and was not able to set the ramp-rate or on-level with 2.6.10. Came here to report the bug and saw the new drop. I upgraded to 2.6.11 and... problem solved. So.... never mind, and thanks. Jim H.

Very good Michel. I am back on 2.6.8 already. Will you just be refreshing 2.6.9? Or will there be a new version number? How will I know when it's safe to re-download? Jim H.

I am having a serious problem with this new version. The problem affects ONLY dimmers with V35 firmware. They will not accept ramp rate or on level settings from the Admin Console. For instance, if I try to set on level to 100% on one of those switches, the administration console may still show 5%. I will backlevel to 2.6.8 for now. Jim H.

Do I correctly understand what you are saying? They are phasing out the -working- PEEK/POKE methods, and replacing it with inadequately tested, unreliable, just plain not-working I2 methods? Jim H.

Joe, just for additional info - my sunset timers are still working in 2.6.8. Jim H.

I was getting the same error. I eventually got it installed after resetting my PLM. Jim H.

Darrell, Thanks for the reply. This is all good news and something to look forward to. By the way - I have a whole-house IR system, and the Ocelot is the controller in the middle - driven by HomeSeer. Performance is solid and reliable (both receive, and transmit). I will be anxious to try your offering when ready. Jim H.

Now that HomeSeer has "forced" me into an ISY, I have a question about current and/or future ISY capabilities. I am wondering how much of my HomeSeer workload can be offloaded to the ISY. I have some closets that use wireless DS10A's. A W800RF and the HomeSeer ACRF plugin receives the signal, and then activates the closet's Insteon switches ON and OFF as the doors are opened and closed. The only other thing my W800 is handling right now is wireless X10 hawkeye motion sensors, but Insteon motion sensors are now shipping. Is there (or will there be) a way for me to duplicate this using my ISY - short of hardwire and EZIO's? The other thing HomeSeer is doing for me is IR IO (via Ocelot), but I know UD is working on that. Jim H.

Michel, I'm not seeing a network enabled device on their website. Am I missing something? What am I missing? Help me Mr Wizard. (Most of you are way too young to remember that.) They are almost finished and ready for release. In fact, I believe they will sell you one now if you send them a personal request. Jim H.

Of course we want that feature. Frankly, I was surprised to learn that it wasn't already there. Even the much maligned HomeSeer Insteon plugin has that feature, and it came in handy. Jim H.

Okay - Rebooted everything one more time - computer, ISY, and router. It's working again at the moment. I'll come back if this problem continues. Jim H.

I unplugged it - and plugged it back in. Now I can't access it at all - and it fails a ping test. Jim H.

When I load the console through my local network, I can no longer select the "Program Summery" or "Program Details" tabs. They just will not allow me to select them (when I try, the page goes blank). It seems to work fine if I access the console through web access. The first picture is on my "Main" tab. The second picture shows what happens if I click on the "Program Summery" tab - the "Main" tab still shows as selected, and the rest of the screen goes blank. Jim H.

When a new device is added to the ISY, it asks if you want to remove all of the links, or save them and attempt to create Scenes. If you chose to save the links, and things don't seem right afterwords, is there any way to tell the ISY to remove all existing links in a device without having to delete and re-add the device? I understand how to remove links by remove devices from scenes, but I want to know if there is a way to clean a device of all links in its memory, just like the option that seems to be available when a device is first added. Jim H.

Excellent. Thanks! It came with no documentation either. I guess I better download the documentation.

I purchased an ISY-99i refurb. It did not include a power supply. I have plenty of wall-wart power supplies, but I see no rating on the power input of the ISY (I hate when the power requirements are not on the unit). So, what is the correct voltage and amperage?

Old thread, but interesting to see this actually happening. Mike, looks like you will get the answers to all those how and why questions you posed (hopefully). As to the value added question, I may be able to answer that one. I personally find Homeseer to be a nice bridge between all kinds of technologies and interfaces. I/O contacts and low voltage switching (hardwired) through my SECU16, IR I/O through my Ocelot, window and door sensing through my W800RF, and then Insteon. Homeseer makes it trivial for me to use them all together as if they were one. Now, I -may- be able to re-create all of the functionality with an ISY-99i/IR and some Insteon EZIO's - I'm really not sure. What about my wireless DS10's? Also, I don't think the ISY OUTPUTS IR, does it? How well do the other Insteon IR devices work - could I rebuild the same sophistication and have it all working through the ISY? I really don't know the answer to all those questions, or how well the end result would work out for me, but I also saw no reason to spend all the time and money to find out, if all I really needed to improve my Insteon integration is an ISY, and a plugin to my current Homeseer system. Jim H.

Is a Homeseer plugin for the ISY something that UDI would consider writing?
