Nevermind. As always seems to be the case, after trying about everything and opening a case, I found the answer soon after - I needed to update my Java heap to 512.

Hi- I recently got a new computer (Lenovo T14s) and installed the latest java and iox launcher, however the programs don't load, even though the rest of my devices/nodes do. I attempted to clear the cache, update java, reinstall, change resolution, however cannot seem to get the programs to show up. I updated java and the launcher on my older laptop and they appear just fine. Not sure what would be preventing programs from showing up on a brand new java and Iox installation. My launcher and firmware are both 5.8.0. Attaching screenshots outlining the issue. Curious if any of you have had this issue and if so, how you may have gotten past it. My laptop is new, but its not a netbook or cheap laptop so wouldn't expect anything weird with it. I opened a support ticket as well, but wanted to reach out to group as well to see if anyone else has come accross this. Thanks! Chris

Curious if this is any quieter/more elegant than the schlage. After 7 years my BE469 (not the plus BE460ZP) gave up the ghost. Was looking at the ZP upgrade, however I always hated how loud and metallic the Schlage sounded. If I can get the Ultraloq keyed to my schlage, that sounds like a better solution especially if it adds fingerprint (its also 25% cheaper).

How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup
Hunter Aviator replied to Chris Jahn's topic in IoX Support
As much as I tried to avoid it, i'm going through that process now. Unfortunately its a few dozen devices so was hoping to avoid it. -
How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup
Hunter Aviator replied to Chris Jahn's topic in IoX Support
I did wake them up before selecting interview as well as during the interview running but no change in behavior. ISY doesn't seem to be recognizing any of my battery ZWave devices. My non-battery zwave devices are all behaving as expected. -
How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup
Hunter Aviator replied to Chris Jahn's topic in IoX Support
I followed the upgrade process to upgrade from ISY994 with ZWave to Polisy with ZMatter, and while ISY and powered Zwave devices seemed to migrate just fine, any zwave battery device did not, including locks, motion, etc... I tried waking them up, enabling them in admin console and running ZWave --> Syncronize --> Update with interview however nothing happens. Is there a process I am missing to get my battery zwave devices back online? -
How to migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave using an ISY-994 Backup
Hunter Aviator replied to Chris Jahn's topic in IoX Support
Is the issue with the corrupt migration that occurred December resolved with this? I'm looking to migrate 100% from my ISY994 with Internal Zwave board to my Polisy with ZMatter and this sounds like the process for that. I can no longer find the previous ZMatter post that called out the corruption issue as the posts were recategorized -
Let me get this straight... Polisy --> ZMatter --> USB enclosure --> eISY
Hunter Aviator replied to JTsao's topic in ZMatter
I'd be interested in how well the board works with antenna extenders or external antennas. My ISY and Polisy are both in a utility room, in a network rack surrounded by a furnace, water heater, etc... Thus far I've not had range issues with ISY 994 with ZWave, but with all the additional antennas it would be useful to relocate as I'm not sure I can have all those antennas in my current rack & it would be useful to get them up to the ceiling of the the utility room for additional range. I know the last time there was an external antenna option with the ISY, it actually reduced range so i'd be curious if that has changed. I may have to experiment. It looks like you can get extension cables and even antenna arrays relatively cheap. Given all the antennas it would be cool to embed them in a 3D Sauron helmet or something else aesthetically pleasing. at that point, they could be put anywhere! -
I, too would like to know where this fits in along with Polisy. I just put in a substantial amount money into the Polisy (new SSD, zmatter board) in anticipation of migrating off the 994 where I'll also be putting in substantial time (lots of Zwave and Insteon.) I've been with holding many new device additions in anticipation of this move to avoid complicating it or having to recreate my zwave network if the migration doesn't pan out, but am now questioning if this is already an antiquated product and I should be looking towards the EISY. it does look sexy and powerful, but also seems to take a step backwards from the Polisy in requiring USB Zwave rather than the internal Zmatter module. I'd also be curious as to the range without any antennas. My ISY994 and Polisy sit in my basement in my networking closet inside a rack (they sit on the top shelf) so I'm always concerned as to how the range might be impacted. I think a simple side by side comparison along with an explanation of long term goals with those devices would help us better plan out any migration. Overall UD has been fantastic to work with since my days with the ISY 99i in 2009/10 --> ISY994 --> Polisy so hope that continues on with a clear understanding of the long term platform support considerations.

same for me. alex skill broke and http 500 on portal

curious what version you guys added the nanomote on. I can't seem to add it to my 5.3.0 instance after just successfully adding a couple of fibaro motion sensors.

you can also use a combination of IFTTT and Isy Portal to integrate MyQ to Isy. Its worked pretty well for me. Just setup variables for open/close status for each door and use ifttt to set those variables with webhooks. That gives you door status. You can use network resources with rest put commands to run open/close commands through ifttt and back into MyQ.

Amazon Echo - Connected Home Feature!
Hunter Aviator replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Amazon Echo
First off - Thank you UDI for never ceasing to amaze me with functionality! I received my echo last week thinking I was going to have to go through the hacks to integrate it with ISY - I was proven wrong when I ran across the portal integration. Signed up and am well on my way to controlling my theater purely with voice! One thing that I did struggle with, however is getting my AV components integrated. I was finally able to get them into a program (using a mix of IR and TCP commands through the Network module and my iTach), however there were a couple of spoken words that I am missing: Satellite or Direct TV (Something other than just TV to turn on my satellite receiver), FireTV or StreamingPlayer, Playstation or Game Console. Right now if I want to watch satellite, I use the Spoken Word "TV" (which I can live with) with Echo, however satellite would be more direct. Also, the FireTV word i'm using is "Video", which although functional, isn't completely intuitive. Also, in my room I have two different scenes for my lights. One to turn every light in the room on and one to "dim" the lights by turning off a couple of unnecessary lights and then just dim the sconces. Because I want to turn off a couple of lights as part of the dim, there is currently no means with the integration with echo to turn off or dim a scene - I have to have separate phrases (i.e Great Room Lights for all lights and Theater to dim the lights). It would be great if there was a way to use a single phrase in echo to turn on all lights, turn all lights off or dim (i.e. Great Room Lights On would turn on all lights (Scene Great Room Lights), Great Room lights Off would turn off all lights (Scene Great Room Lights) and Dim Great Room Lights would run my separate Dimming scene - turning off a few lights and dimming the others. If Amazon ever gets to the point of allowing multiple Echos in a home (and I don't see why they wouldn't go in that direction), it would great if the road map allowed us to fence each Echo to a room so that if i'm in my Theater, that Echo wouldn't require me to say "Theater", I could just say "Lights". Likewise, if I'm in my bedroom, I could use the same word "Lights" and because it was spoken to the Echo in my bedroom, it would only control those lights. If that were to become reality, it would still be useful to be able to state the room name, in the event I want to turn off the lights in my theater from my bedroom. All of that said, I am very happy where I am at - these are mere suggestions for the backburner. I truly appreciate all the hard work you have all put into this and ISY as a whole! My friends and family all come to me with the problems they have with their pure cloud hubs (i.e. Wink) and I am always thankful that I don't have to deal with those issues at my house. For anyone else's reference, what I had to do in order to get my AV equipment commands to work properly in a program was the following: 1. Create Program WatchSatellite 2. Disable the program (so it only runs when called) 3. In If condition, have a true statement (so it doesn't run the else when "turned on" with Alexa) 4. In the Then, have your device on commands 5. In the Else, have your device off commands 6. In Isy Portal, add the program with the Spoken Word "TV" I also created a program WatchFireTV with similar programming (just doesn't turn on Satellite and sets receiver to a different input) Now I can say the following: Alexa, Turn On TV to turn on my projector, satellite and receiver (setting it to Satellite input) Alexa, Turn Off TV to turn off my projector, satellite and receiver Alexa, Turn On Video to turn on my projector and receiver (setting it to FireTV's input) Now if only I could find a decent way to integrate with FireTV (mainly just to turn it on), but I suppose I can use the Echo directly for that. Thanks Rand, that appears to be working. Though it's a pain in the butt, it seems to be the best option for IR functionality right now...Hope you and Smarthome can get something better worked out in the future. Thanks again - It's good to be running again. Chris

How do you get this revision? I just started playing with the IRLinc transmitter I got today (rev. 1.3) and when I add a remote button following the steps in the wiki (starting from Add Button to IR Linc Transmitter), the device button shows up in the admin console, but I can't do anything with it (no on/off). When I attempt to create a dummy program to see if I can do anything through that, my only options for the button are beep intervals. Long story short (or not as the case may be) do I need to send the unit back? I contacted smarthome earlier, but have not yet heard from them.
