Is there a final word on the functionality of the 2844-222 motion sensor with 4.6.2? I have read that it will function about the same as the older MS. I know it will be included in the new release but still waiting on that.

I currently use 2 of the old insteon floodlight kits with the in-line module. They work fine and unfortunately no longer available. Anyone have any DIY solutions to achieve the same functionality as the original insteon floods? A sense line would be needed from the PIR to a insteon module. Thanks.

Thanks for the help. Firefox and Mobilinc are now connecting to the ISY remotely. Cant get Microsoft edge browser to connect, there is no setting for exceptions in edge!

The browser on my desktop and mobile browser will NOT let me continue to the ISY! ( Error msg attached). Do not really want to globally reduce my browser security to allow the ISY. Any other way to fix?

I think I have had this problem for a while but just have not been using remote access to my ISY994. When trying to login to the ISY remotely i get the errors in the pics attached to this post. I checked the port for the ISY and it is open. When I go to the dashboard and look at CA certificates there is none listed (see attached pic). Can you guide me to a post that explains the process for installing a cert? Do I need a self signed? I am a bit confused on this. Remote access did function so what happened to the cert? Do they expire? Thanks!

I figured it out! I set homepage to default on the web server tab. I have another question. Do i need to worry about the 13mb of memory showing bad on the web server tab of the admin console?

Still getting the same error trying to log into the ISY by HTTP. /USER/WEB/iTouch.htm not found Is my ISY missing files? I have the networking module installed.

I did not extract anything i clicked on the link in the Wiki! Is there a file I need to install on the ISY? Where can I find it?

Looking forward to trying this MS! I am a hater of the current MS and have had my share of "ALL ON" issues. I am also wanting a updated IO linc as I find the device VERY useful for so many things.

I guess the IP camera and IO linc idea will not work! I found out that when the light turns OFF it causes a motion event and turns the light back ON. May do more experimenting with timings and programs to get this to work!

Worked great thanks to all! Wife and kids leave the garage lights on all the time sometimes for hours. I would not care but the bulbs are "hi output fluorescent tubes" that use quite a lot of current. Need to put in some LED bulbs in the garage.

I need a program to notify me if the garage lights are on for 60 min and send me a notification and repeat the notify every 10 min til lights are turned off. I have a idea how to do this, do i need another program to cancel the "garage light notify program" if the lights are turned off within 60 min? Not sure of the most elegant way to do this? I am sure it is very simple but cant see the forest from the trees! Thanks! The battery is new. Will try the other solutions. Was thinking about trying a IP camera with alarm contacts to detect motion and use a IO linc to trigger insteon ON command? This should work and get surveillance as a bonus!

I had this issue about a year ago with a MS causing a ALLON event where all insteon devices turn on. I replaced the defective MS and all was fine til today another ALL ON event. Anyone else have this issue with the MS? Very annoying problem with a lot of devices.

Yes I am using a iphone 6+ will try that thanks! Still wondering why Vtext quit working? It was nice to get text msgs from the ISY. I need to call Verizon and ask why I was cut off. I also read a online post that said Vtext may see msgs from the ISY as spam and filter them.

I was usuig Gmail and Verizon text for notifications for years and it seems Verizon has cut me off from using Vtext from Gmail. Anyone else have this problem? So I am trying to use Outlook.com email for notifications because there is no push service with gmail only fetch (every 15 min) or manually fetch. (would like to receive notifications quickly). Tried all settings for Outlook mail servers with no luck and failed test msgs. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Lee! I saw some info online showing options for the sensor and thought i had a problem! Info must have been for a older ver of the sensor. All is well!

I just installed a Open/Close sensor 2843-222 and linked up fine. I do not see an options in the admin console button for settings with this device? Am I missing something?

I am installing two 2992-222 range extenders on my system. Should they be located as far apart as possible? One upstairs one downstairs? (One on each 120v leg of course). Does location matter? PLM is in the basement near the ISY.
