  1. I’m not too sure if it says disconnected but I don’t think so. I think it just enumerates the Sonos system before the devices have finished their reboot/startup so it doesn’t know they exist. When I ran this program as a docker in my UNRAID system I could delay the startup of it to allow the Sonos devices to be started prior to the program so I didn’t have this issue. I was hoping I could have a program reload the plugin say five minutes after a power restart.
  2. Here is what I think is happening: We have fairly regular power outages due to high winds and lots of trees in our province. When the power is restored - the eisy and st-sonos plug-in starts up way sooner than the sonos speakers can initialize. My st-sonos routines do not function correctly unless I restart the st-sonos plugin after the sonos sytem is up and running. Is there a program or routine I could use to restart the st-sonos plugin say in 5 minutes after a power restore? Thanks for any help ...

  5. I am having an issue with the ST-Sonos plugin. It has worked fine since I first installed it (I was previously using the same program on my UnRaid server but thought it would be better to 'roll' it into my new eisy. I have noticed it not working the last few days - when I run my program to turn on my 'night music' this is what show up in the log file: 2023-12-08 12:05:39 error: NS: undefined 2023-12-08 12:05:41 error: NS: undefined 2023-12-08 12:05:41 error: NS: undefined 2023-12-08 12:05:41 error: NS: undefined 2023-12-08 12:05:41 error: NS: undefined 2023-12-08 12:05:42 error: NS: undefined Seems an error for almost every command in the program: Sonos Goodnight - [ID 001C][Parent 0035] If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then $Night_Music.Switch.On = 1 Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Leave Wait 2 seconds Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Playlist 7 Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Player Volume 14% Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Shuffle False Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Repeat True Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Crossfade False Wait 1 second Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Play Wait 2 hours Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Pause $Night_Music.Switch.On = 0 Else Set 'NodeServers {i} / ST-Sonos / Bedroom' Pause $Night_Music.Switch.On = 0 Can anyone offer any suggestions on what may have happened recently to the plugin? Thanks for your help!

  8. JCDinPGH Would you be so kind as to post the programs and variables that you are using for mine and others reference? Thanks!
  9. Jason, It is possible that it is NOT SD:1 and you could just try the next sequence of numbers - Renaming the Playlist item(s) does not change this reference so I am thinking that you 'may' have had an SD:1 and deleted it so now your actual playlist is SD:2 even though you only have one showing. To try to find the exact entry ID you might have to use a Sonos Controller and then use a computer program like DEVICE SPY in the Intel Tools for UPnP Technology package to actually send requests to the Sonos for that type of information. Each persons Sonos Library could be setup differently. You may be able to read some more info from the following site - it helped me to learn the small bit that I know: http://travelmarx.blogspot.ca/2010/06/exploring-sonos-via-upnp.html Trail and error with SD:#'s with a controller open might be the easiest solution! Dwight My older findings on the autoplay and Sonos is here:
  10. RGKS There was at least one previous discussion of favorite and playlist selection - here is one thread that may help you a bit: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/14920-how-to-control-sonos-streaming-radio-stations/ I have sold my house (and automation) so I am sorry that i cannot be of any help anymore - I did however post my Sonos findings here for myself and others to find later. Good luck and please keep this forum informed of your progress! Dwight
  11. jmw, Please look at my post #5 in this thread for some discussion on grouping the SONOS players: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/8121-sonos-on-a-keypadlinc/?p=64718 Hopefully this is enough to get you going!? Let us know ... Dwight
  12. sbenton921, Just thinking out loud a bit here but could you start that movie scene Sonos sound with a level of 10 for the volume - then have it call another program that would include a loop to increase the volume stopping at 40!? The length of time it takes to run the 'extra' volume program could likely be sufficient for the slow ramping up. You may be able to incorporate the Sonos as an AUTOPLAY which I believe will ramp up the volume (like the Alarm function does) but the speed of that ramp is not controllable as far as I know. My Autoplay example is here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/8121-sonos-on-a-keypadlinc/?p=64522 Please let us know what you can accomplish - I am sure many would appreciate seeing your programs and hearing of your success/failure! Dwight
  13. Doug, I am not at my system right now but please check this network resource program in this link for an example of how to program a specific volume - I think it should work for you as well: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/8121-sonos-on-a-keypadlinc/?p=101952 Hope this helps! Dwight
  14. Check out my programs in this thread: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/8121-sonos-on-a-keypadlinc/?p=64522 The name of the playlist is not relevant as it is the creation order that is used. It is a Sonos internal list that is accessed and even renaming the playlist will not have an affect on the programming. A little trial and error will help you find the proper playlist. Hope this helps!? Dwight
  15. These guys are the absolute best to deal with in Ontario, Canada! http://www.aartech.ca Black Friday sale is on now ...
  16. Just want to chime in quickly here to also recommend Aartech to anyone in Canada looking for fast service and dependable support after purchase. Could not be any happier with them! Dwight
  17. I have these same programs and although they worked fine previous to release 5 I am now getting both lock and unlock notifications regardless if the lock was locked or unlocked. Both notifications come one right after the other. Will watch this thread and do some more testing if I can find the time. Schlage BE469's
  18. I am still having issues trying to write updates to one of these older RemoteLincs. the unit works and does what it is supposed to do but a change of an associated KPL has it wanting to have updates written to it. Attached is my log of the attempt to to write these updates ... I don't know how to read this. Dwight ISY-Events-Log.v4.3.1__Wed 2015.06.03 09.25.24 PM.txt
  19. Hi Mitch, My locks are the same as yours in the the ISY. Can you tell me the steps you took to remove and re-add your locks please!? Thanks, Dwight
  20. I have had three of these units fail on me in the last four weeks. They begin to act erratically and start to flash either the load or one of the linked scenes. Resetting the device does nothing. When power is reapplied they make a buzzing sound and you can hear the electronics clicking about once per second. One of them would even turn off the backlight by itself. I believe that it is more a case of inferior capacitors than eprom writing though. All of these were purchased in April of 2011 and are the same as the original posters devices. I too would dim or extinguish the back lights overnight through a program. Dim or off at night and then back on in the morning. So I have three of these if someone wants to take them apart to play with them (Brian!?) Dwight
  21. LeeG - your knowledge in Insteon and UDI is just astonishing to me! Thank you for all of your help here. I just have to say that without this community I do not think I would have pursued this Home Automation adventure. There are other here that deserve recognition for their vast knowledge and support of other users and by looking at their post counts you can easily see who I am talking about ... (Xathros, Teken, Oberkc, Apostolakisi, BrianH and others). Also many thanks to Chris Jahn and Michel Kohanim for their tireless work supporting their products. Cheers! Dwight
  22. apostolakisl said:Somebody should just order like 20 or 30 sets of those capacitors and make a little repair kit to sell. They could easily mail in a padded envelope for pennies instead of the $8 or so Mouser charges. I would like something like that - Mouser shipping to Canada is $20 - can't be that much to stick in the mail - I could supply stamps too! Dwight
  23. Thanks Lee - yes - I am using the new firmware PLM device that was sent to me from Michel as a test of the 'corrected' firmware. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13815-another-all-on-event/?p=116640 I have had this installed since last Friday night - no issues so far but this STATUS updating been plaguing me even with the older PLMs I had used. Must be something with the IOLinc I imagine ... Xathros - It is the SENSOR branch that is not updating (sometimes) and a query will flip it proper real quick. I wlll do a restore and then play with the magnet switches - these were replaced to switch the stupid ones that shipped with the kit - they showed ON when the door was closed. But if it was the switch then the query would not 'fix' the status - right!? I will do the comms test of the switch over the weekend and report back my findings ... I REALLY appreciate your help! Dwight
  24. I have an issue where my two (2450) IOLinc's v.41 that are hooked to my garage doors sometimes do not update their status to the ISY properly. If I query the IOLinc when it is showing 'ON' (door open) and I know that the door is closed - then it will flip to 'OFF' right away. Should this not be an 'automatic' thing when the magnetic switch gets made when the door closes? Can anyone suggest something for me to try? Should set up some sort of query program on the units? Enclosed is the query of each of the IOLinc units to show comms ... Dwight IOLinc Query.txt
  25. I just checked this out ... Yes mouser ships to Canada ... Parts are $3.03 and shipping is $20.00 ... I suppose if it worked it might be a a good backup for an $80 new PLM. Dwight
