Thanks for the suggestion. Had a brand new battery (measures 1.57v), and as I said, it links up fine directly with the KPL. Once linked manually to my KPL, it's quite reliable and from several areas of my house (including where I'm testing - about 2ft from the PLM).
Before attempting to link it to ISY, I unlinked it from my manual KPL link.
I replaced the battery (1.61v) and tried to link again with the same (negative) results. First attempt actually linked, and I could even get it to show in the admin console when it was ON vs. OFF. However, I could not add it to a scene as it was not fully initialized and had a red ! next to it. Several attempts to Write Updates to Device failed with error "Cannot communicate with . Please check connections." Not sure this is the case as there is no issue talking to my KPL.
On subsequent attempts, I deleted the TL and attempted to do it again. After 4 more tries, I was not able to get it to link. Each time, it failed with the error, "Failed writing the highwater mark [-200000/-1] Node not added - failed removing links (14 89 B1 1) [-200000/-9]". After each attempt, I've done a factory reset on the TL just to be safe.
Something else interesting; even with out being linked, I can see events showing up in the Event Viewer whenever I activate the TL so it seems to be broadcasting it's status, and ISY is picking up this status just fine.
Again, during this process, ISY never tells me when I should place the TL in Link mode. After selecting Link Management, New INSTEON Device, I fill in the address (read from the sticker and verified from the Event Viewer), Name, and Device Type [10.02] (2421) TriggerLinc. I select "Remove existing devices", but also have tried "Add Devices Found in Links and remove existing links"; both with the same results. After hitting OK, I immediately get a message box saying, "Initializing System", and it seems to be scanning for the TL. I've tried to do noting and see it if finds it, I've also tried hitting the Link button right after I hit OK to add the device; neither seem to matter.
Any other thoughts?
