  1. Thank you for your help. Diagnostics shows "PLM not connected." No recent electrical issues. Tried reconnecting both ends of PLM cable, power cycling the PLM, and rebooting the eisy. Still PLM not connected. The green LED on the PLM is lit. What does the button on the PLM do, and should I try pressing that? I tried to look up the manual for the 2413S, but I get Page Not Found. When I upgraded to eisy, I had to get a serial PLM cable. I think I have a 2413S. I looked at restoring the eisy from backup, but apparently when I upgraded from isy to eisy I apparently didn't take a new backup. So my most recent backup is quite old (v4.9 from isy). Don't know if I should try restoring the old backup. I had a spare PLM, so I plugged it in. Green LED came on, but eisy still says PLM not connected. Error log attached. errorLog.txt
  2. eisy had been working fine for a long time. Suddenly, attempts to query devices from iOS app get an error: <?xml verison="1.0" encodings="UTF-8"?> <RestResponse succeeded="false"><status 404</status> <reason code="1"/> </RestResponse> -------------------------- Attempt to query device status from the UDI Admin console also gets errors: [PLATFORM_ERRORS--7058] [ID 0000:[.178] err=0, tag='cmd', num=4, nest=4] [PLATFORM_ERRORS--7115] [ID 0002:[.178], err=0, tag='cmd', num=4, nest=4 ---------------------------- I have attempted updating all packages and rebooting the eisy to try to fix this. Nothing worked. Eisy is not communicating with my Insteon devices now. In the UD Admin Console, current state of all devices is blank. I also unplugged the PLM and plugged it back in after waiting a little bit. The LED on the PLM is green, but devices are still not working. How do I fix this? 3. If I create an Insteon program with no if conditions, does the ISY periodically run the program's then clause? On what schedule?
  4. Thanks so much. I missed that under the Insteon menu there was an option to turn scenes on and off. I will try the beeper function tomorrow when people are not asleep.
  5. Michel, Thank you for the answers. I think you tried to answer both my question, but I'm not sure. Activate the scene? What does that mean? The scene is active as far as I know and working fine. Either switch controls the lights. The problem is that if I control the switch remotely, the corresponding KeyPadLinc light doesn't go on. Programmatically, there is no choice to turn a scene on that I can find - just choices to adjust a scene (adjust the brightness level). The switches are not dimmable, so I don't have brightness levels. You said in programs, scroll down and choose beep. I think that sets the beep duration. What do you do to cause the beep to sound? Thanks for your help.
  6. I've set up a 3-way virtual circuit. One side (the side with the load) is a SwitchLinc. The other side (the virtual side) is a KeyPadLinc. I created a scene and added both Linc devices as controllers/responders. This works exactly as expected when I use either the SwitchLinc switch or the KeyPadLinc button. In particular, using the SwitchLinc switch changes the status of the LED on the KeyPadLinc button to reflect whether the light is on or off. However, if I remotely change the status of the SwitchLinc either programmatically or using the ISY console, the status of the LED on the KeyPadLinc button does not change. This results (for example) in the lights being on but the KeyPadLinc being off, necessitating 2 KeyPaidLinc presses to turn the light off (and the status being incorrect). What am I missing that would make KeyPadLinc status light update correctly when the SwitchLinc is remotely activated? -------------- Unrelated question: The manual says that the KeyPadLinc can function as a chime. How do I use that feature?
  7. I am a new ISY994i user, and I was investigating this issue. I have an iPhone. I was looking at Prowl. But after a bit of research, I discovered a free and easy solution to this. Create a gmail account for your ISY994i, send notifications via email, and configure gmail to do push notification to your phone. Details on how to do this on Google's website. An additional advantage: If Apple messaging is not available, it falls back to SMS. This solution just always uses email. I get nice popup notifications on my phone when an email comes in. For best results, use the gmail address for the ISY994i only.
