thanks for the info. My problem is your 1) nothing happens. I rebooted everything, system, computer and still nothing happens. I went back to my topic on this from last week and I set a new password. Still nothing. It's strange because just yesterday I was logging in, working in PG3, I installed the open weather, all this. now I just cant access it anymore.

Welp thanks for the suggestions. I rebooted everything and now I cant even login to the PG3, just like I couldn't before. It seems I cant get anything to work here without hours and hours of trouble. I wondering if it's just me or if these systems just don't work that well. Anyway I guess I will try again tomorrow.

I did create the account, got my API key, and updated the node server configuration. Do I need to create any parameters other than the ones you show here?

I have implemented my first node server, Open weather. All went well, it shows nodes in my eisy. However I must be doing something incorrect because all values are the same: zeros. Would like to be directed to more information to make this work please.

After waiting a few days I tried to login again, and this time it worked no problems. Im not sure what fixed it but patience payed off! Thanks to all who helped me with this.

OK, I ran update packages and rebooted eisy and I rebooted macbook Successful login to eisy AC and to UD Portal tried to login to PG3 from IoX finder, under polyglot V3 (PG3) Got this:

My system is linked to ISY portal. I get to the PG3X login screen, i input my UD portal credentials, click the login button... nothing. Screen remains unchanged. Also, im on a MacBook with safari. Pre thanks to you folks for trying to help me!

I am on eisy and looking to login to polyglot version 3x. I can get to the login page, but trying default passwords or trying my AC passwords won't do anything. The interface just sits unaffected. How might I proceed?

Im not a super user, but I just cant seem to log into PG3. I enter my credentials and it just looks silently at me. I tried reboot, upgrade packages, all my passwords etc. Can someone direct me to a clever solution or a description of what to do that isn't 30 pages of an error log which, sadly, means nothing to me. Thank You!

from 994i admin console choose Help-manually upgrade isy select file downloaded re: insteon_5 select open this opens the subfolders, there's nowhere to go from here..

At the risk of appearing that I do not appreciate your help, the messages for lilyoyo1 and Techman completely ignore the issues that I have already described. You are going in circles suggesting things that I told you I tried. I already know you don't unzip the link, and I told you the file I downloaded is not a zip file. Thanks for trying though.

Current firmware 4.9.0 Mac Ventura 13.3.1 no Zwave I downloaded a file from this link: ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave support It has a main folder called Insteon_5, plus 3 subfolders Code, Def, Web but its not a zip I want the firmware so I can migrate my stuff to new eisy The message is upgrade failed: invalid or corrupted upgrade file

I tried to use the firmware download called Insteon_5 but my isy said it wouldn't work. Is there something im missing here? I was able to update eisy firmware. I used the conversion cable I bought from UD. Thanks for trying to help me!

This is what I was concerned about. I love my UD controller but it has always been very difficult for me. I moved the plm and tried to migrate again. Still no devices. I just don't know where to go from here.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I only wanted to keep the old in service because I am deathly afraid of not having the new one work and I have so many things I rely on my controller to do around here every day. One other thing: the guide to migration wanted me to upgrade my old isy to the latest version, and I downloaded the file which was a folder with other folders inside. When I tried to upgrade it told me the file was not usable. So I went with my old version...

Im boldly trying to get my eisy working. Its installed, I can access it from the admin console, my email and text configuration is there and the test send a text, all my programs are there. My ISY is still on and working in parallel, I can access the Admin and I can control via Mobilinc Pro. I only have insteon devices. I successfully linked a new insteon device to eisy and I can operate it from admin and UD portal. I don't see any of my existing insteon devices though, and all programs that refer to them won't save or update. Searched this forum for possible tips, no luck so far. Is there anyone who can offer help?

Dennis, Thanks! I did have a reservation but the IP address did change.. fixed that plus an ISY reboot fixed me up. I really appreciate your help, im back in business
