  1. Hmm. I hadn’t thought of it that way. Although there are other reasons for wishing for wishing Insteon to migrate to matter/thread. I presume, maybe incorrectly, that it would remove the PLM from the mix, should it ever be necessary, all your lights could be easily migrated to a different platform. all that said, I feel a little less uneasy about incremental adding some i3 devices.
  2. Great news. Sounds like we're getting closer! Thanks to everyone working to get MATTER / Thread over the finish line. On a related note, I too have also started accumulating MATTER devices and I was reminded today when I received the Insteon Anniversary sale email that I haven't seen any updates regarding Insteon and if they will also support Matter/Thread. I really like their new i3 devices but I'm very hesitant to add any devices that aren't either MATTER compatible or that promise to get there in the near future. Especially as it seems UDI is getting closer to supporting it.
  3. An update on this would be great...
  4. Think of it this way... we're nearly a year closer.
  5. Does this answer that question? https://github.com/Scott--R/Tailwind_Local_Control_API
  6. I'm curious what you guys think of this device. Its homekit-centric, but I wonder if it would work with a Nodeserver as well. Right around the 13:20 mark, there's a popup that says it has a local API.
  7. Apologies ahead f time--I wasn't sure which forum this was best suited for. Anyway... I've had a few Insteon dimmers die recently so I started looking into possible replacements. Easy enough to go buy some new Insteon's but i wanted to investigate newer options... specifically dimmers that are: 1) Matter certified 2) use Thread 3) Can be integrated with my Polisy with the Zmatter board which I installed some time ago. My questions are basically... are we there yet? It's unclear to me is Polisy (even with the ZMatter board) is actually ready for MATTER devices. Secondly, can the Polisy leverage Thread? And lastly, assuming the Polisy either is or soon will be able to interact with Matter and Thread... I could find no Dimmer devices that seemed to check those boxes--which really surprised me. I'm curious if any of you have found "next gen" dimmers that you like? Thanks!
  8. Uhg. I rebooted and I'm now in the same boat as you all. @Goose66 do we know if the node server will work with if one is subscribed to the MyQ service (meaning if we pay MyQ their subscription fee?). I was thinking of doing that anyway becasue my Tesla can use it. If that solved the problem I might by the bullet... but I don't want to pay them and then find out it won't work for the node server.
  9. All good now. Thanks!
  10. Ok That worked in that I can see it in the change log and if I go to the node server itself but I still don't see how to to actually update to it. Sorry if I'm being dense. I tried restarted the NS. That didn't do it. Every button I fond that says UPDATE takes me to the screenshot below... where there is no option to update. I have already purchased the the NS.
  11. Does it take some time for the update to become accessible? I'm still not seeing how to update.
  12. [Ticket #19329] ST-SONOS NS failure
  13. +1 Mine is also failing.
  14. I have the same question. For the ST-Sonos node server requires regular restarts. I have, in the past worked with both the developer and separately opened a ticket but we never got to the bottom it. On average, I will find it in a failed state about twice a week. While I'd of course love it if whatever is causing it to be addressed, in the interim, it would be great to programmatically restart regularly.
  15. I know. I’ve done that maybe 10 times. It doesn’t work.
