  1. It's a submerged well pump, about 200 feet in the ground and 100 feet from the house. I will have to see if I have any specs on it.

    Well pump

After 2 successful notifications from my leak sensor under the kitchen upstairs (I was luckily home both times) it got me wondering about killing water at the house if I am not home. I'm on a well and currently have a switch that kills power to the well pump, mounted in my utility room. My question is, could a standard on/off switch handle this or do I need something more heavy duty?
  3. Worked like a charm. Got my first z-wave device added easily.
  4. Nevermind, found it on orchestratedhome.com
  5. Any suggestions where to buy it? Link on that page goes to https://www.universal-devices.com/sales/?category=accessories but it doesn't list it.
  6. I added the module and it says it's missing the z-wave dongle?
  7. Do you simply buy the module? No physical hardware to make the device find the z-wave devices? I believe with insteon I had a module that plugged into the wall or something. Does the schlage lock work with a phone to lock/unlock doors? From what I read, it seems it's all pin driven?
  8. Hello, I primary use all insteon devices and run an ISY 994i. Can I add Z-Wave support to this device? If so, how? Silly questions, but not sure. I am looking to buy an August lock which requires z-wave.
  9. All is working!!! Thank you.
  10. Ok, it's setup as follows now: Outdoor Light Schedule - [iD 0004][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Else Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off MOTION SENSOR Outdoor Lights Motion - [iD 0013][Parent 0001] If From 11:00:00PM To Sunrise (next day) And Control 'Driveway Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Run Program 'Outdoor Lights Motion Prog' (Then Path) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') AND Outdoor Lights Motion Prog - [iD 0005][Parent 0001] If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Wait 5 minutes Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  11. I don't follow on the motion program. Currently, it's set as: Outdoor Lights Motion - [iD 0013][Parent 0001] If From 11:00:00PM To Sunrise (next day) And Control 'Driveway Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Wait 5 minutes Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') What do you mean run next program, then path?
  12. They were on but turned off it seems when the MS detected me, even though the MS shouldn't go into effect until 11pm. The MS isn't connected to do anything else, other than send an email on detection.
  13. Around 7pm, after sunset, in the dark.
  14. Ok .. so I came home tonight, all the lights were on. It appears, for some reason, they cut off once I pulled into the driveway. Doesn't make any sense as the motion sensor isn't supposed to kick on until 11pm .. I've reviewed what I've pasted in this and it seems as if it all should work and many have said it looks right as well. Perhaps anyone else have any insights?
  15. Ok, so I set 1 program up for the lights from sunset to 11pm: Outdoor Light Schedule - [iD 0004][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Else Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off For the motion, I changed it to control, as mentioned: Outdoor Lights Motion - [iD 0013][Parent 0001] If From 11:00:00PM To Sunrise (next day) And Control 'Driveway Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Wait 5 minutes Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Else Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Look good? I'll monitor and see how it looks tonight.
  16. Hello, I am trying to figure this out. I have 4 outdoor lights on the following schedule: ------------- Front Porch Light - [iD 0004][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Else Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off ------------------ Garage Outside Lights - [iD 000A][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Else Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off ------------- Garden Patio Light - [iD 0005][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Else Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off --------- Walkway Lights Schedule - [iD 0015][Parent 0001] If From Sunset To 11:00:00PM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Else Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off ------------ So each of these 4 devices will turn ON at sunset and off at 11pm I also have a motion sensor setup. I want the motion sensor to turn these lights on upon motion, starting at 11:05pm until sunrise and go off after 5 mins if triggered on motion. However, I am finding this schedule isn't working: --------- Outdoor Lights Motion - [iD 0013][Parent 0001] If From 11:05:00PM To Sunrise (next day) And Status 'Driveway Sensor-Sensor' is On Then Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' On Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' On Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' On Wait 5 minutes Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off Else Set 'Outside: Garage Lights' Off Set 'Outdoor: Front Porch Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Garden Patio Light' Off Set 'Outdoor: Walkway Lights' Off --------- Any thoughts on the programming here? It seems my last "else statement" is overiding and keeping the lights off from sunset to 11pm.
  17. I am using the ISY 994i with all Insteon devices, at 2 houses, with no issues. Pretty easy to setup as well.
  18. Ok .. so here is what happened: 1. PLM was shot .. that is why everything was flaky 2. No idea what caused the port on the ISY to change 3. When I was able to get logged in, I changed it back to port 203, but in error, made HTTPS 203 as well 4. Thus, that is why when I installed new PLM dashboards still didn't load 5. Tech at ISY used telnet to get into device, changed HTTPS to a diff port, dashboards worked 6. Finished install of PLM The only strange things I had was all the dimmers ramp rate changed to 9 mins. So, I had to go in and edit those back. Very funky how this all happened, as a result of a bad PLM (the port) but glad it's fixed.
  19. I put a ticket in .. will provide an update on the resolution. Using light switches and not being able to tell Alexa to turn my lights on .. it's like prehistoric time!
  20. Here is the outline of events: Came home, programs not working Rebooted ISY Was able to log in 1 time into ISY via the java admin console . But, noted the port on the IP was back to 80 when the past 2 years it was 203. ONce I figured that out I could login Nothing else seemed to work Noted red light flashing on modem Was told to reseat memory card .. did that Turned back on, red light gone, but still not accessible via console Bought new PLM Unplugged all items, plugged PLM in, booted ISY Same thing .. console not responsive
  21. New PLM arrived .. followed the procedure to replace (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/420-how-to-replacerestoreremove-plm/). However, the ISY is still not loading any admin pages. Only difference is now only the "power" light stays steady blue on the device. Same error as before: Not found in ISY java desktop In browser: The 192.168.1.203 page isn’t working 192.168.1.203 didn’t send any data.
  22. I have ordered a new PLM, it will be here Thursday. I just didn't' think a bad PLM would prohibit the device dashboards from loading, etc .
  23. Rx and Power steady blue. That's it.
  24. Just to make sure, I unplugged the device from the router. Ping no longer replies and IP is offline .. so the ISY is booting, no error light anymore, gets an IP, replies to ping, but dashboards won't load.
  25. The SD card seemed fine. However, I did seat it again. Still, nothign is loaded. I have the network setup where DHCP won't go over .200. The device is .203. It's replying to ping and showing accepting an IP. However, the dashboard won't load and the ISY java console won't find it. Any ideas?
