Amazon Echo and ISY
I hadn't seen it mentioned here, but I was browsing skills in the Alexa app last night and the isy skill was in there now.

Amazon Echo and ISY
I call mine "T V screen" and haven't noticed any problems yet. My device "lights" often takes more than one try.

Amazon Echo and ISY
rizast I'm using the same stuff. Mine stopped probably the same time yours did, not sure what changed or if I changed something. I just ended up updating the emulator from bws systems. Then used the same mapper except had to add all my devices back in one by one. Then it worked fine again.

Amazon Echo and ISY
I'm hoping we can also query sensors/devices in the isy as to their status and get a response from the echo.

Amazon Echo and ISY
I use a Windows tablet always on for my emulator to run on. It uses ~4 watts/hr. I use chrome remote desktop to access it so I can leave it on its shelf. Also, if I remember correctly someone said the ISY skill will work both ways one is ask izzy to (command), but will also be able to use "Alexa turn on/off" also. Could be wrong since I haven't really seen much official information on it.

I was planning on playing around with a ceiling mount for mine as well. It would be nice if Amazon made remote mics to add on around the house in a smaller form factor.

994i & Climate Module, writing for Snow-Melt system
I am putting in a pex tubing radiant heat snow melt system in my driveway and front walk this month too. I'm trying to plan out controls and any sensors I need to embed in the concrete. Anyone else controlling their snow melt system with the ISY? I was really hoping to find a nice snow sensor that I could just hook up to an io linc but as far as I can tell the ones I've seen so far look like they're probably some type of resistance signal that is interpreted by the control unit they want you to buy which is also pretty expensive. I don't mind paying if I know its' a good one but I don't see a lot of reviews out there either. The company selling me my system only sells manual control with a slab temperature setpoint to idle when it's up to temp and said their experience was that the automatic sensors have too many false starts. My thought was to write a program in ISY to alert me by text any time the sensor detects snow then I can confirm it. Then I could incorporate the "snow probable" program mentioned above and have the system turn on automatically if the snow sensor is triggered in the middle of the night so I don't miss a notification and wake up to a covered driveway... I like your Photoelectric Sensor idea Jeff, I may incorporate that. But if anyone has any other updated experience please share! Thanks.

Revolv
I also was most interested in the geosensing for an "almost home" which I'd love to use to set my thermostat if it actually works as advertised. As far as Android "We plan to have it released in Q1/Q2 of 2014." I don't plan to get one at this time but would also be curious to hear more about it if anyone else tries it out.
