Hi Every one I have been trying to get a simple night light program to work. when the light is switched on after 12AM and before 5AM the same day go to 30 percent. it does do that but goes past the set point a little then back to where I want it. I did a search couldn't find any talk about this issue. is this normal Thanks Jeff

Hi ALL I was thinking about installing under cabinet lights, LED. I will be using a insteon switch non dimming with a insteon outlet. the switch will not be connected to the load. these LEDS are a strip that has a separate driver that will plug into the outlet. can I expect any problems Thanks Jeff

Hi I was going to put it on a 2 pole breaker, the 2 circuits for the Plm and modem are going to be multi wire so they need to be on a 2 pole breaker just wasn't sure if sharing the same breaker would hurt the signal Thanks

Hi all My thermostat is less than 1 year old and now it seems to not be communicating with my isy . The first one I got never did , so sent that one back for a new one. Then it worked until now, are these stats that bad or could it be something else Thanks Jeff

GFI'S are not required in bedrooms it is more than likely a arch fault breaker it is required in bedrooms

Thanks Paul, oberkc I will for sure put in a surge protector, and phase coupler oberkc did you mean a dedicated circuit ? do I need to move my modem and PLM , the modem is on my desk next to my computer and the PLM is on the same circuit as the computer, I could move both to the basement next to the panel and install a new circuit for them Thanks for the help Jeff

Hi Everyone Hope everyone out there is having a great holiday weekend ! I have been installing switches and use a ISY in my home over the past year and haven't had many problems. I read the posts every couple of day for new ideas and to learn how every thing works. Just wondering if there is a place to read how to set a reliable system up. I've read about different things like bridges, access points, filterlincs, I dont really have any trouble with my system so far but dont want any problems later either I have 14 dual band dimmers 4 outletlincs 1 garage controller 1 leak detector ISY 994 use mobilinc What things should every set up have to have a good set up Thanks Jeff

Hi I've been playing around trying to have a program to let me know if my garage door does not shut after the button has been pushed, goes part way down then goes up. I'd like to turn on a light or text. my door kit sensor is off when open. Any help would be great Thanks Jeff

HI I'm playing with this leak sensor and trying to figure out how it works, is the wet node normally in the on status when dry ? when I set it in water the status does'nt change in the ISY but mobilinc does send me a alert, my simple program does not send me a text, the status does change if I push the button on the top of the sensor, but still does not send a text ?

Hi Teken Thanks for the info, now I have a little better understanding of how the device works. I saw the post about the leak sensors programs, they are complex, at least for someone at my skill level any sugesions on something alot more simple. I have moblinc and it does send me a alert if it gets wet. Thanks, Jeff

Hi I just bought a leak sensor and have in my ISY. I like to know how things operate and why, the leak sensor has the nodes, dry, wet and heart beat. looked around for info on what the different nodes were for could not find anything, read the manual on line and found the posts about the programing. dont want to just set it up with out knowing the reasoning behind it all. any place to do some reading ?
