We installed navien in our house and works great, I tied the unit into elk alarm, once motion is detected in the bathrooms, elk triggers the “hot” button function. This works as long as you have return from the highest point in your hot water supply. I would strongly suggest not to use Alexa for that reason.

Circuit Breaker control via Insteon or Zwave
marcin replied to ewind's topic in How Are You Using ISY?
Leviton breakers are designed to work with Leviton panel. You won't be able to use the smart breaker in non Leviton panel. In addition you will need to purchase "Smart Breaker Data Hub" (UPC Code: 078477822883) in order to communicate with the load center. -
Circuit Breaker control via Insteon or Zwave

Installed one of those in my house, could not be happier with it. Great for energy monitoring, trip breakers notifications etc. Breakers are pricey but well worth the expense. -
Hi Wes, Wanted to check in to see if you have any progress on MobiLincX?

What make and model of generator do you have? I

Here is another idea if you don’t want to go with controller you can use your Elk with relay board (ELK-M1RB) connect the wires from your irrigation valves and write couple programs in ISY or ELK to control the irrigation process. I’ve been with my rain machine for almost a year, I found it to be very easy to use. Initially it took little bit of configuration, but once set is very easy. I actually just upgraded my Touch HD from 12 zones to 16 zones since we set up some micro drips for flowers and garden.

Thank you and with all due respect, I'm fully aware of that, as I recently renew my family yearly subscription for Mobilinc X. At this point Mobilinc X is a remote not even close where Mobilinc Pro was. I feel that there was no significant development in past year. Therefore, I'm trying to figure out if I should switch back to Pro or continue supporting new version in hopes of getting this same bells as the Pro has. I asked Wes (apologies if I wasn't clear) to see if Mobilinc X is a project that he will continue working on and providing new improvements or if that is not on the roadmap or near future.
-
Wes apologies, but I have not seen any new updates. Are you still planning on developing X version? Or should we switch back to the old one. I do miss push notifications.

Here is link to Elk: https://www.elkproducts.com/product/single-door-access-module-m1kam/ I don't remember but it was generic, I think I got it on Amazon, I will look for

Leviton has nice Zwave switches and they offer companion switch as well.

Does anyone has any recommendations for duct CO2 and \ or Smoke sensor that would work with elk? Thank you, Marcin
-
Thank you. How did you hook up the controller to the Elk?
-
I was wondering if anyone connected the COSMO-4W or COSMO-2W Smoke and CO sensors via i4 Interface Module to their ELK system. https://www.systemsensor.com/en-us/Pages/COSMO-4W.aspx

Thanks Wes, do you have a timeline or idea when the next update will be released?

Does anyone has any updates re additional features that are in development for MobiLincX? Ip cameras notifications etc?

For water monitor I'm using pHin, (https://www.phin.co/). It works great, saves time and hassle of testing water in the pool store. For the pool gate I have electronic latch connected to Elk alarm with the access control. In addition I have Pool Patrol Alarm connected to Elk as well. As far as filtration runs on timer, but Im pretty sure you can connect it some sort of smart relay or outlet.

I love my RainMachine. I did not had a chance to hook it up to ISY but its really user friendly on front end. My wife likes it as well. There is a lot of configuration on the back end with each zone, size soil type and sprinkler type etc.
-
Thank you. I went with RainMachine and planning on using wireless tags.
-
I hope everyone is staying safe. I'm looking to upgrade my Irrigation Controller. I was thinking about Rain Machine. Does anyone has any recommendation? I want something that would integrate with ISY either directly or thru polisy. Moisture sensors would be a plus.

Michel, I need to change my shipping address. Who should i contact? Thank you Marcin

Looks great. If you are using illustrator try exporting the design in PNG format. Personally I found it better to engrave.

Here is the transfer tape that people with glowforge are using to mask their material. https://www.uscutter.com/TransferRite-Medium-Tack-582U
-
Initially when I started the engraving I used blue masking tape. I encountered few issues. First is a paper based product with adhesive that was not designed to be for lasering. Toxic fumes aside, masking tape charred on the edges and made painting the buttons impossible, left the residue as I mentioned in my post. You can try. Up to you. I had great results with laser tape. I also used vinyl transfer tape with good results.

Masking tape did not worked for me. Left a residue that was hard to clean up.

Congratulations. House is gorgeous!
