  1. Hi Wes, Wanted to check in to see if you have any progress on MobiLincX?
  2. Thank you and with all due respect, I'm fully aware of that, as I recently renew my family yearly subscription for Mobilinc X. At this point Mobilinc X is a remote not even close where Mobilinc Pro was. I feel that there was no significant development in past year. Therefore, I'm trying to figure out if I should switch back to Pro or continue supporting new version in hopes of getting this same bells as the Pro has. I asked Wes (apologies if I wasn't clear) to see if Mobilinc X is a project that he will continue working on and providing new improvements or if that is not on the roadmap or near future.
  3. Wes apologies, but I have not seen any new updates. Are you still planning on developing X version? Or should we switch back to the old one. I do miss push notifications.
  4. Leviton has nice Zwave switches and they offer companion switch as well.
  5. Thanks Wes, do you have a timeline or idea when the next update will be released?
  6. Does anyone has any updates re additional features that are in development for MobiLincX? Ip cameras notifications etc?
  7. Michel, I need to change my shipping address. Who should i contact? Thank you Marcin
  8. Looks great. If you are using illustrator try exporting the design in PNG format. Personally I found it better to engrave.
  9. Here is the transfer tape that people with glowforge are using to mask their material. https://www.uscutter.com/TransferRite-Medium-Tack-582U
  10. Initially when I started the engraving I used blue masking tape. I encountered few issues. First is a paper based product with adhesive that was not designed to be for lasering. Toxic fumes aside, masking tape charred on the edges and made painting the buttons impossible, left the residue as I mentioned in my post. You can try. Up to you. I had great results with laser tape. I also used vinyl transfer tape with good results.
  11. Masking tape did not worked for me. Left a residue that was hard to clean up.
  12. Thank you for the files!
  13. E-mail sent. Thank you.
  14. Please sign me up.
  15. All, I was in need of some blank KPL buttons, as usual I went to SmartHome website and as it turn out product is unavailable. I called SH customer service and I have been told by the representative that this product has been discontinued. Does anybody has any insight on this? I know Amazon has some left... When I started this endeavor with custom buttons, and during my search for Laser Engraver, I found Chinese lasers that everybody are familiar with and Glowforge - which I think I mentioned that while back, I took a plunge during their Kickstarter campaign and after long wait my laser finally arrived today. As soon as I will have it up and running I will update the post with engraving results. On separate note, as far as the color fill goes I found interesting product called Lacquer-Stick I think some of you preferred to have flat feel to the buttons vs. feeling engraving marks - I ordered some and I will update and let you know how that will work out.
  16. Thank you great write up!
  17. RE 3 - you can take a look at this post <Click Here>
  18. What's about magnetic door strike or lock in connection with io linc? http://www.seco-larm.com/E-941SA-80Q
  19. I agree with Scottmichaelj, UDI would be the best option at this point.
  20. In ELK RP take note of the "System URL/IP Address" and "RP Access Code" - Make sure that "Connect Non-Secure" checkbox is unchecked. In ISY under IP Address field enter "System URL/IP Address" from your RP Software In Port field enter 2101 from your RP Software In Access code enter "RP Access Code" from your RP Software Let me know if that's solved your problem
  21. Are you able to connect to your elk system using Elk RP software?
  22. Laser engraving does leave letters in gray-ish \ blak-ish color. I prefer to apply paint for universal nicer finish. you can use exacto knife with pointy blade to lift the corner. Perhaps little needle will work as well.
  23. thank you larryllix I will try it tomorrow.
  24. Something like this? Dryer Elk - [iD 001B][Parent 0010] If Elk Zone 'DRYER SENSOR' is Violated Then $Dryer_Sensor += 1 Set Scene 'Alarm Dryer Status' On Else $Dryer_Sensor Init To 0 Set Scene 'Alarm Dryer Status' Off and this: Dryer Elk Notify - [iD 0011][Parent 0010] If $Dryer_Sensor is not 0 Then Wait 5 minutes Set Elk Speak Phrase 'Miscellaneous 2 ' Send Notification to 'Marcin' content 'LAUNDRY - DRYING CYCLE COMPLETED' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
