  4. Dear All, I am preparing to work on a very interesting demo project that use ISY 994i/ IR Pro with the following functions: Devices need to be controlled: - 8 lighting circuit - 1 DAIKIN FXDQ32PBVE air-con - 1 indoor panel button with four buttons : DND ( Do not disturb), Door bell, Cleaning Room and Bathroom that allows it to control LED Display Status Panel outdoor. - 1 key card switch to control some lighting. Project Requirement: - Smart Home design, using only 1 handy remote to control each light bulb, adjust temperature and DND and Make up room button integrated. - When guest press DND button, a DND notification light up and mute the ringtone when someone ring the bell. - When guest press Make up room button, a Make up room notification light up. - When guest enter and insert key card into card holder, some light which is programmed will light up. I am planning to use ISY 994i/ IR Pro with the following insteon devices - 8 x Switchlinc on/of to control 8 lighting circuits. - 1 x Insteon Thermostat or Nest Thermostat to control Daikin FXDQ32PBVE air-con - 1 x KeypadLinc - 6 buttons to control four LED Status Display Panel Outdoors (DND, Doorbell, Cleaning Room, Bathroom). - 1 Mini Remote or One Harmony Universal Device to control everything above remotely. Since this kind of project is very new to me, i have a few questions and need your help. - Can i use Harmony Universal Device Remote to control everything above including: switchlinc, keypadlinc, thermostat...? - Which Harmony Remote can work with ISY 994i IR Pro. I found many products from this link: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/harmony-remotes. Which products are suitable for me: Harmony 650, Harmony 350 or Harmony 700... - Could you recommend one Harmony remote for me? - Can Insteon Thermostat or Nest Thermostat can control singe split air-con like Daikin? If you've got any idea to share, i would be grateful to you. Regards,

  8. I can not add most of my insteon RF-only (None dual band) devices such as: Motion Sensor, Remote Linc, LED Bulb. Every time it happens "Can not add insteon engine" Very frustrated
  9. In my opinion, ISY development is limited since they are separate.
  10. There's a lot of thing to be done for Insteon/Smarthome. They should go global. - Fully support international user for all of their products include IO Linc, PLM... - New management software (They should buy ISY and develop it) - Improve mobile app
  11. Already done what you said above but it still doesn't work. 12. I am running ISY 994i IR/Pro with PLM v9C (Firmware: 4.2.16). I've got the following errors when trying to add Motion Sensor and Mini Remote: - Cannot determine Insteon Engine - Cannot determine device link table addres With other dual-band devices like Switch Linc or Open Close, my ISY 994i and PLM work fine. I know someone has posted the same problems on this forum but i still need a help to solve my issue. Thanks
  13. I am facing the same problem. What's the best solution to fix this?
  14. Dear LeeG, I've just submit my ticket. My timezone is different 12Hrs with yours so that i need your support urgently. Thanks
  15. I can not make my ISY 994i work remotely with Mobilinc. I need tech support from ISY. Anyone could help, please?
  16. Since i don't have static IP address and my Internet IP Access is always: http://0.0.0.0/ When i am at my local wi-fi network, it works fine. But i don't know how to make it work remotely. I would be grateful if anyone could help step by step. Many thanks I followed this guide If you have a UPnP router, on Admin Console please try File->Enable Internet Access the outcome of which should be the URL at which you can access ISY remotely. If you do not have a UPnP router, or if File->Enable Internet Access returns "null" or fails, then: 1. On Admin Console go to Help->About 2. Write down IP Address and Port number for your ISY listed in front of My URL. So, for instance, if you have: My URL: http://192.168.1.105:54321/0/p then Your IP is 192.168.1.105 and Your your Port is 54321 If you do not see any ports, then you would want to forward to port 443 (for HTTPS) unless it has been changed using CWP 3. Follow the information in http://portforward.com/ to configure your specific router for port forwarding 4. Your remote access URL will be in the form: http://your.isps.address:your.isys.port/0/x Please note: 1. Each ISY has its own unique Port number 2. If your ISY is on a DHCP (default behavior for most routers) then ISY's IP address may change. As such, if you plan to use remote access: a. Use static IP for ISY, or b. On your router, make ISY's IP lease permanent, or c. Use dynamic DNS services such as dyndns.com or tzo.com
  17. Dear friends, Can i make my ISY 994i IR/Pro work with some Zigbee Door Lock or Zigbee Garage Door by upgrading to Zigbee module? I am thinking of Z-Wave but still looking for a solution if it can work with Zigbee. Regards,
  18. I am successful configuring ISY and a few Insteon Devices that makes them work together. But anyone knows how to config Mobilinc to work with ISY 994i pro by port forwarding method. I look forward to hearing step by step instruction. Best regards,
  19. I am newbie here, and many thanks for your answer. Since Insteon does not support international so much, I am still looking for a way to use other DIY's Smart Home with the following functions: - Lighting control with dimming - HVAC Thermostat control - Garage Door Control - TV/Audio Control - or Multi room music - Curtain, Blind, motor control - IP Camera intergration (Foscam...) - Energy consumption display - iOS and Android control - Motion sensor.... Do you know any DIY's Smart Home system can do above functions, i am thinking of Homeseer but still not sure it work well at 220V/50Hz or not, and i am wondering Homeseer can do the above functions. Please give me your advices.
  20. Dear All, First, i am using Insteon Hub but want to switch to ISY994i due to its advanced functions. I am looking for a way to use ISY 994i with Insteon Devices but unfortunately it seems that the PLM will not work at 220V/50hz. I've read many articles on this forum that indicates it's impossible event with Power Converter as well. I am still wondering if anyone here could solve this problem or has the solution. Here are a few ways i am thinking of : - If we can use ISY 994i with other devices instead of PLM to make ISY work with Insteon Devices - Firmware Update or others Power Converter. - Using ISY 994i with Insteon and Homeseer, how it works or can use Mobi Linc software? - Other ways Or event if UDI and SmartLabs have any plan/development on this issue to enable ISY 994i/PLM works at 220V/50Hz, i would be grateful to know. Many thanks
